chapter five- the snow

Amy POV:

When Daniel and I reached the top, we walked through big blankets of snow, as he held my hand. After a few minutes of walking we find out cabin and go inside. Daniel took a breath because it was so warm inside compared to outside.

Then he ran upstairs as I unpacked my stuff. Then I went up the stairs opening my brother's door. "hey, do you want hot cocoa?" I asked, as his face lit up. "Yes!!" He exclaimed.

I grabbed my brother's arm and we went downstairs. Sits at the dining room, while I make our hot cocoa. "Extra marshmallows?" I asked. "Yes please." He asked, as I smile. After I was done making hot cocoa, I put the drinks on The dining room table. He starts sipping his drink slowly.

I began cooking our dinner, which includes roast dinner, fish and chips, toads in the hole and shepherd's pie. And Daniel's favorite cheese pudding. And I managed to find a can of cranberries. "I don't like cranberries." My brother said, as he watched me cook. I shuffle "How did you become such a big eater?" I asked, smiling at him.

"I am not!" He said, defending himself. I chuckled as I continued with our dinner. After I was finished with dinner me and him began to eat. "I'm not eating these cranberries." He said, looking at the cranberries I put out. "Well you don't have to." I said, smiling at him. He smiles back, as we continue to eat.

"Your hair..." Daniel said, pointing at my hair. "What about it?" I asked, while chewing. "It's turning white!" He insisted. I stopped eating. And swallow and ran to the restroom, and I looked in the mirror. "Please don't be what I think it is." I whispered to myself, as I looked in the mirror.

I looked in the mirror and saw that I had a big chunk of hair has turned white as snow. I whimpered as Jack Frost came into my mind again.

(Flashback)

As walked in the snow when I was 5 and I was holding my shark plushie. As I had no idea where I was going. Then out of nowhere I saw a figure in the blizzard, and then the blizzard stopped. "Well, hello there child." Jack Frost said to me as my kid self looked up at him. "Uh... Hi." I said, looking at this strange man. "I have something for you, now hold out your hand." He said, as I did as I was told.

But he grabbed my shirt as he froze my heart I wince in pain as he disappeared. I cried for hours that day.

"Amy?"

"Amy!"

"AMY!!"

my brother yelled, shaking me. I groaned, barely waking up. "Wake up!" He said, still shaking me. "Ok ok I'm up." I said sitting up and stretching. "D-did I pass out?" I asked him, he nodded. "Yeah I was really worried." He said, as I hug him. "It's okay I'm fine now." I said, as I ruffled his hair. He smiles at me as I get off up the bed to go down stairs with him.

He held my hand to make sure I didn't fall. I smile as he is so cute and sweet. When we got down stairs I sat on the couch as he played his games. I breath in and out hoping I don't freeze again. So far only one big piece of hair is white as snow.

After awhile there was a loud thuding out I grabbed Daniel and we ran upstairs. "Shh..." I told him quickly and quietly. He gulps, as he hugs me. I take a peek at what's going on.
