The Princess And The Christmas Elf

chapter three- the meeting

Bernard POV:

I was in the control center when "they're coming right at us!" A girl control center elf said
"Take us to elfcon three!" I ordered then I sat down pressing some buttons "these guys aren't stopping! I said worried "take us to elfcon two!" I ordered.

"We have a partridge in a pear tree!" Santa said "you take us to elfcon one. Let's rig for silent running. Look alive, everybody!" "Okay, were at elfcon one." A control center elf said. Then everything went silent. I prayed nothing would happen.

~You know you better watch out~
~you better not cry~
~you better not I'm telling you why~

"Find out where that music's coming from." Santa said "Santa I've got her on the locator." Another elf said Santa walked over I followed
We knew where it was so we went to Santa's sleigh.

~he knows when you are sleeping~
~he knows when you're awake~
~he knows if you've been bad or good~
~so be good for goodness'...

~you better watch out, You better not cry~

We found Curtis bopping to music and me and Santa share a look. Santa rushes to cover his mouth and turned the music off. We wait until all clear but it never came. Me and Santa were confused and concerned so we went back to the control center to see what was happening.

Then I glanced at Curtis with a angry glare he sticks his tongue out at me I just rolled my eyes in the control center "what's happening?" Santa asked quietly "the plain landed near us." A girl control center elf said quietly.

We all stayed slightly worried and quiet.

Amy POV:

Me and my brother DJ sit in the plane and it lands "ok lady and little guy here's your stop." The flight attendant says "ok here's your money." I said handing them the money. "Alright sport let's go." I said to my brother. "Okay let's go!" He said cheerfully we get off the plane.

My brother and me immediately start shivering
"Why would you want to come here?" He asked cold "because I felt I needed to." I said finding my jacket in my bag. "Hey, d-do you have an extra jacket?" He asked shivering "didn't You bring your?" I asked annoyed "No I didn't know we were going to somewhere cold!" He yelled at me.

"No need to yell, I already bought your jacket it's in my bookbag." I told him he smiled. "Thanks big sis!" He hugged me I smile. "Alright to the cabin I rented for us for five days this way!" I held his hand walking left and after a few minutes we found the cabin.

"Here we are now let's go inside." We went inside where it is much warmer we took off our jackets and got unpacked in our room.

Bernard POV:

We waited for a few moments and the plane left "okay we're at elfcon four, all clear." A control center elf told into the inner com. We all take a sigh of relief. "Curtis, what do you say we get you headphones this Christmas?, it's alright everybody. Let's get back to work." He said walking away.

"Curtis, your 900 years old, grow up!" I starnly said as he just glares at me. "Bernard!' Santa called me I sigh walking away from him to Santa's side. Curtis followed us "you know I didn't break any of the rules, according to the Santa handbook." "The handbook! Curtis, do you go pee-pee with that thing?!" Curtis ignored my snarky comment.

"It says elves are encouraged to listen to music. It makes them more creative, more productive and more well... alert. LOOK OUT! We all ducked seeing chet flying above us happily chittering and then he fall us hearing a loud crash.

"It's okay. Is he alright?" Santa asked "he's okay, Santa." Another elf said "wow. That's gonna leave a mark, ooh. It that blitzen? Looks like prancer. That- who is that?" Santa asked "it was chet. One of our reindeer in training." "Oh." Santa scoffed "well please tell me that it's early in his training. Wow nice fall." Santa says as he walks away "Curtis, when are you gonna tell him?" I asked him. "Not now!" He said walking away I follow him.

Then Judy ran past me to Santa to stop him "what is it Judy?" Santa asked her after seeing the bad look on her face. "We need you back in the control center, it's important!" She said me Santa Curtis share a worried glance. "Okay Judy take me to the problem." Santa said to her we follow her to the control center. "Stanley tell Santa what we saw." Judy said to stan. "Ok checking our status, we see two life forms we're the plane was." I sat down checking our status seeing it was true I gasp standing up.

"It could be to people freezing to death!" Santa said "we have to get them in here!" Curtis said all elves and Santa go to the mine hallway I pressed the lower down button. All of us seeing two people lowering down.

Amy POV:

Me and my brother were on a walk when suddenly the floor opened up making us lower down in the ground I hold on to my brother's hand as he hugged my side. "What's happening?" He asked me worried. "I-i don't know." I said unsure."

We lowered down seeing father Christmas and his elves. I could see my brother smiling so happy. "It's them!" He said excitedly. I smile at my brother as we stopped and we're completely down underground. Everyone stared at us.

I could hear murmurs in the crowd and I felt I needed to protect my brother from everything or everyone here. So I pulled him behind me. He hugged me from behind.

"Hello?" He asked everyone "hi you may you guys be?" Father Christmas asked us. "I'm well my name is Amy and this is my little brother Daniel, and his nickname which he likes to go by is CJ or DJ. "You can come forward." Father Christmas said but I stan still with my brother on edge.

Bernard POV:

I watch as Amy is being cautious not moving a step I understand she wants to protect her brother but we mean no harm. "I assure you we mean no harm." Santa said to the people. "Really?" DJ asked "yes we're just curious why your here in the freezing cold?" I asked smiling.

"It's personal." She states not opening up. Santa came closer to me "make sure you have a room ready for them." He whispered in my ear. I nodded "yes sir." I said walking up to them.

Amy backs up with DJ hugging her from behind. "I promise I won't do anything." I said meaning what I said "I'm not scared, but if you do something I'll use my karate on your butt." She threatened. I gulp. "Yes like I said i won't do anything, I just want to take you to your room for the night." I said with a smile. She finally relaxed "alright, thanks."

We walked upstairs and I showed her to a door we went inside. "Wow!" DJ said looking around the room Amy looked at me staring at me. I was confused on what she was staring at. Then she put her hands on my face brushing my hair back she held my head in her hands she looked at me with her beautiful hazel eyes, staring at me.

I blushed. "Uh.... What are you doing?" I asked fiddling with my fingers looking at her, I wanted to look away but I couldn't. "I'm feeling your face and I can't just see the leadership in your face." She said smiling her smile made me want to melt. "Th-thank you." I said my face getting more red.

She stopped what she was doing and walked over to the bed "I'll unpack you can go, bye.... Uh... " She didn't know my name "oh how rude of me, I'm Bernard." I said smiling she smiled back at me. "I'll go then." I said leaving them alone closing the door.

I walk into one of my favorite caf'e. And sat down grabbing me a drink of hot cocoa. I drink it slowly then out of nowhere Curtis and Terrence came to sit with me "what do you guys want?" I asked annoyed. "We just want to talk." Curtis said smiling. "Yeah." Terrence agreeing with Curtis. I rolled my eyes.

"What do you guys want?" I asked annoyed. "So well just want to know why, are you so red, You have a fever?" I turn more red at his question. "I-I'm fine!" I said drinking my Hot cocoa.

"Uh-huh." Terrence said not convinced
