S1 Ep1: What's up Paldea!

3rd person POV

???: Florian? Wake up! We need to get you ready for school!

Florian: Ugh. Coming Mom.

Florian's Mom: Hurry up! Director Clavell said he'd show you and Juli the directions!

Florian: Wait what?

Florian POV

What did she just say? Juli would transfer as well? Its hard enough she wouldn't stop bugging me for battles, but now we're in the same school again? I know that I seem like a jerk, but you'll understand. Probably next chapter. (what, you thought I didn't know you were there?)

Anyway, as you've read, my name's Florian. I am originally from Kanto. I chose to be a trainer after my older cousin became the champion. He was the first to complete a Pokedex. He left some of his Pokemon in Kanto, so I used them to win Pokemon Youth Leagues. Now, I'm 14 and I'm going to get my own Pokemon and begin my taking steps towards my goal: beat my cousin, the first Pokemon master.

I have another cousin, but I'll tell you about him later. He recently became one of the strongest Trainers in the world. But I think my first cousin could beat him.

Mom: Hurry up! The food is getting cold!

Me: Alright, alright! I'm coming!

3rd person POV

Florian runs down the stairs for breakfast.

Florian: I'm here.

Florian's Mom: Did you take a bath and brush your teeth?

Florian: Always.

Florian's Mom: Clean your hair?

Florian: Yep.

Florian's Mom: Did you-

Florian: Yes! I did.
[Annoyed]
Can we eat now?

After breakfast

Director Clavell: Good morning, Master Florian. I am Director Uva Clavell, headmaster of the Uva campus at the Pladean Pokemon Academy.

Florian: Nice to meet you. Did I make it to the Elite Class?

Director Clavell: Already shooting for the Elite Class are we?
[Amused, chuckling]
Well, with your background and family members fame, it was almost guaranteed.

Florian: Yes!
[Happy]

???: Florian? I knew I recognized you!

Florian: ... Son of a bi-
[Extreme annoyance]
