The Preliminary Selection

*groan* "aaaagghhh" I groaned as I woke up. I had a nice sleep. I have enough energy. I can feel it. "Oh hey Mito you are finally awake" Naruto poked my cheeks as I got up. "Yea. What's going on now" i asked having no idea what's going on. Cause the thing I only see is Choji and Kabuto lying on the floor.

"Oh it's the preliminary selection for the final test" said Sakura. "Is it necessary?" I asked. "I thought so too. But they need less ninjas they said" replied Naruto frowning. I know he wanna fight more of them.

"Where is Sasuke?" I asked. "He is in the inflammatory. He is just fine" said Kakashi sensei. Ok that's nice. "so you guys win or not" i asked again.

"Yea yea. Sasuke won against a sound village ninja and me too. Against Kiba. But Sakura and Ino were tied. Believe it" Naruto said. How can Sakura lose. She is like the smartest kunoichi in the village and our team.

"Am i disqualified then?" I asked. "No you are last. You have luck you know" said Sakura looking towards me but not maintaining eye contact. I guess she is ashamed of herself losing.

"Sakura cheer for me if I am next. But who is left" i asked looking towards Sakura. "Only one. Dosu Kinuta. From sound village. You are up against a tough one" said Sakura. "It's okay. Not very strong" i said shrugging.

"No you don't know him. He created sound vibration and they react to your ears. It can kill you in an instant" said Sakura gripping the railling of the boundary of the gallery tight.

"Vibration" I said to myself whispering. That sure sounds very bad. Vibrations are no joke. Till I know it can make you deaf. You can go crazy after hearing a definite amount of vibrations and you will have mental problems. Only If you are lucky and survive the death somehow.

"Choji and Kabuto are no longer in condition to fight. I declare this fight a draw" said the prosecutor. "Let's head up and call the last genins. Mito Uzumaki and Dosu Kinuta" he screamed. Oh no. It's happening.

I walked down the stairs. He was there already. Smiling at me. I can tell he is smiling with his bandages too. I got to the fighting area.

"Are you both ready"

"Yes I am" we both said in unison. Man I just woke up and already have to fight. There is Naruto cheering his lungs out for me. And Sakura too. I have to do something. I have to win no matter what.

"Start"

I jumped and backed off from him. I don't want sound vibrations to kill me. "You are already running. So I guess you know what am I going to do already. Don't you" he said.

"What ever is it. I will never give up" I said and threw some shurikans towards him. He caught those with only his fingers. He sure is strong.

"YOU CAN DO IT MITO. BEAT THAT FREAKS ASS" screamed Naruto.

Please shut up. I am trying to focus. "Fine you aren't going to do anything then it's my turn to do" Said Dosu flicking his gear in his right hand with his fingers of the left hand.

*Ring* *ring* the sound vibrations no. "Aaaaaaaaaaarrrreggggg" i screamed in pain as the vibrations made my brain jello like. Well not exactly jello but I feel like it.

I fell on my knees coughing out blood. "That's it? You are really pathetic. You are no match for me" he said walking towards me. I clenched my teeth and shot a glare towards him. But i the thi gs I only see is swirls. Everything is in swirls.

"Wondering why you see everything in swirls?" He asked laughing. "I know what's this all about." I replied angrily and coughed out more blood. I know I can't trust my eyes anymore. Nor my ears. Well only final option left. My Nose. My secret ability. High sense of smelling.

I closed my eyes and got up. I ran towards him just guessing it and hugged him tight taking a huge goofy sniff of his neck.

"Eww weirdo. Get off of me" he said grabbing and throwing me on the ground. "No no. You take it wrong." I smirked while I am still closing my eyes and planned to close it till the end.

"Are you crazy Mito. Why are you sniffing him" screamed Sakura and Naruto. Others are giving me nasty looks I know.

But i don't care because I will know where ever his is. *Sniff* *sniff* i sniffed some air and located Dosu in an instant.

"So there you are" i used my ink balls to shoot at him. Since my training with Ink i find myself strong and my attacks have more speed you will not even see it.

It went to him in such a speed he didn't see it. When it splashed over him i snapped my fingers and boom. It blasted. "aaaaa. What is this. I thought I made you blind and deaf. Then how can you find me still" he screamed.

"Well you managed to blind and deaf me. But you didn't get hold of one thing. My keen sense of smell. You see i have a high sense of smell even more better than Kiba himself. But only thing is it's not sensitive. It can take any strong smell. And the sniff that I took on your neck had some fragments of your smell. And that's how I am locating you" I said. Smart enough right.

"Good job Mito. You can do this" screamed Naruto and I give a thumbs up to him locating his smell.

"Then let's continue." I said and rushed towards him. I threw ink splashes all over him. Making him completely black of my ink and instead of blasting and using it to crush him.

"You can't escape my ink prison" I said. He used his vibrations but to his surprise it became more tight. "Vibrations can flow through any fluids. But my ink is not a fluid but is also a fluid. It's hard to explain but simply. It's gonna shrink more if you try" i explained.
