CHAPTER 6 SURPRISE

Meanwhile.....

As the night sky draped Mahora Academy in a blanket of darkness, Aoi Kiriya strolled down the serene sidewalk, her mind still immersed in the day's filming. Unexpectedly, she crossed paths with Asuna Kagurazaka, whose countenance bore a hint of concern.

"Hey, Aoi-chan! You're still out? Why haven't you reached your room yet?" Asuna inquired, her brow slightly furrowed.

"Oh, I just finished shooting for the day. What's up, Asuna-san?" Aoi responded, genuinely curious.

Asuna's frown deepened. "I can't find Honya-chan. She left a few minutes ago, and I thought she'd be back by now."

"Honya-chan? Who's that?" Aoi asked, a touch of puzzlement in her voice.

A mischievous grin adorned Asuna's face. "It's my nickname for Nodoka. Come on, let's find her together."

Aoi, with a warm smile, agreed, "Sure, I don't mind. Lead the way."

As they walked towards the opposite dormitories, Asuna and Aoi engaged in light conversation, eager to familiarize themselves. Aoi, with genuine interest, asked Asuna about her time at Mahora.

"So, Asuna-san, how long have you been at Mahora Academy?" Aoi inquired, her tone friendly.

Asuna chuckled. "Feels like forever! I've been here since elementary school, so I know the ins and outs of this place. What about you, Aoi-chan? Is this your first time near Mahora?"

Aoi nodded. "Yes, it's my first time. It's been opportunity since i only got here for a temporary stay due to my filming project. I must say..... The school's quite impressive, and even more than I heard, there's more to it than meets the eye." she say honestly with still has an awe feeling after two days stay there. Asuna then excitedly suggest here about more interesting places she can tell Aoi. " Maybe we can go on girl's day with me, Konoka and you when you got free time?" Asuna offer Aoi smile at an eager person beside her. Thinking how she somehow alike bit  Ichigo, she couldn't help but chuckle. Response," Looks like a good idea! Maybe I can familiar myself the town near here" Aoi and Asuna continue to converse each other as the familiar Sakura lane come into they eyelines.

But then suddenly two of them heard a very loud sound like a very strong wind blowing away something. Asuna and Aoi blinked to each other then run towards the sound that just near the distance before them.

As Aoi and Asuna ran towards the commotion, their concern grew with every step. The loud sounds and the sight of Negi engaged in a questionable conversation with a suspicious person heightened their worry. Negi, appearing flustered, seemed to have just cast a spell.

"Negi!!!" Asuna shouted in concern as they approached. Aoi, catching up, added, "What was that sound just now?!"

As they reached Negi, the scene unfolded in a comical manner. To their surprise, they found Nodoka unconscious, with half of her body exposed. Negi, in a state of panic, was frantically looking around. The chaotic situation left them both bewildered and curious about what had transpired just moments before they arrived. With the peculiar image of Negi trying to manage the unexpected scenario, embarrassed holding Nodoka's unconscious form on his lap, with a sleeve strategically placed for modesty.

Five minutes before Asuna and Aoi arrive at the location...

In the chilling moonlit night, Evangeline AK McDowell, draped in a tattered black cloak with a whispering wind that carried sakura petals, greeted Negi with a sinister smile. "He, he, he... The dawn of a new term, sensei. Let's spice up the greetings, shall we?" Her smirk widened as she uttered, "Or should I say... Negi Springfield?" A trace of amusement lingered as she licked her bleeding finger, the scene bathed in the haunting glow of the moon.
