Toni woke up to Amara being sick again so she got up and walked to the bathroom
Toni: you still being sick hunny
Amara: yeah and it's horrible
Toni: I know sweetheart sickness bugs are awful
Amara: yeah they are she said leaning against the toilet
Toni: oh hunny I'm sorry why don't you go back to bed for a bit
Amara: yeah alright she said slowly walking back to her room with a bucket
Toni walked behind her
Amara got back into bed: mum you better get the kids up and dressed for nursery and Skyler then get yourself to work or your gonna be late she said not realising Toni lost her job
Toni: Yeah I'll leave in a sec but are you sure you're gonna be okay by yourself
Amara: yeah I'll be fine I promise mum
Toni: alright then anyway try get some sleep she said while leaving the room to get the other kids up
10 minutes later Toni left the house

Half an hour later
Amara woke up feeling sick again she ran to the bathroom and was sick
Amara: AHH why do I keep being sick what's wrong with me she said sitting up
She sat on the floor thinking for around 10 minutes before something popped in her head
Amara: Shit what if I'm pregnant she said starting to panic
She quickly ran to her room and started searching pregnancy symptoms she clicked on a page and started filling in a questionnaire

1.Have you been sick recently: Yes 2.Any stomach cramps: Yes 3. When was your last period: Not Sure 4. Have you had unprotected sex in the last 8 weeks: Yes
Results: From these results I would suggest you take a pregnancy test
Amara: oh shit no this can't be happening it's 2 weeks till Christmas and mum's already struggling For fucks sake
Amara went into her mum's room and started rummaging through her draws
Amara: come on there's got to be some tests in here somewhere she said pulling practically everything out
After 20 minutes of searching she eventually found one in the back of her mum's draw
Amara ran back to the bathroom and looked at the instructions
Amara: right let's do this she said opening the wrapper and taking the test she set a 3 minute timer then crossed her fingers

Amara turned off the timer then slowly picked the test up

Shit what does that mean she said holding up the test she took another look at the box
Oh crap she said bursting into tears what the hell do I do now I can't tell mum oh god I'm fucked she said breaking down
After a little she went to her room and was just looking at the test still crying but suddenly she heard the door go
Toni: I'm home darling are you feeling any better she said walking up the stairs
Amara quickly wiped her tears and chucked the test into a box
Amara: yeah all good mum she said as Toni popped her head in
Toni: Alright sweetheart I'm just going to get changed then I'm going to go do some Christmas shopping okay
Amara: Yeah no worries take all the time you need she said putting on a smile
As Toni left the room Amara took a deep breath out well that was a close one
