How do you heal,
What you cannot remember,
But know to be true?
Memories - some clear as day; others numb as the night,
It happened, something happened,
But what? And when?
The body remembers what the mind forgets,
The mind remembers what the body forgets,
Like prison guards do the rounds, memories rattle around your being, for your soul to weep,
Reminding of you things you cannot remember,
Just a feeling - like a whisper or a flicker,
How do you heal
What you cannot remember but know to be true?
How do you find a way back, to you?
