My Monster In Disguise - Part 2

Chapter 4

She pulls into parking lot and gets out. Following the directions where to find Kacie and Caroline on phone she finally reaches a clothing store where opposite that stood Kacie and Caroline waiting for her. They greet with hugs and continue their shopping. After walking around and in and out of almost every clothing store, they were exhausted and made their way to Jenna's car as they planned for her to drop them off since they came with an uber.

Jenna pulls out the keys to unlock the doors of her car while Kacie and Caroline holds onto the bag. Suddenly Caroline screams noticing a guy with a black cloth that mask his face coming to attack Jenna from the back. He tries to choke her down to knees as she struggles for breath. Kacie and Caroline don't know what to do except panic and try to help but the guy pushes Kacie really hard, she falls down leaving Caroline to help Jenna defend themselves. Kacie grabs one of the shopping bags from the floor that she had dropped in shock of what was happening and hits the guy with it making him fall over just as Jenna slips into an unconscious state. Kacie runs to see if she's okay and so does Caroline until she sees the guy getting away and tries to chase him down but is unable to as he gets away faster than she thought he would be. They both pick her up and put her into the backseat Kacie drives off to Jenna's house. Caroline tries to sprinkle water on her face but realizes that she's out cold.

Later that day Jenna wakes and finds herself on her bed. She has a splitting headache; she gets out of bed and goes downstairs where she finds Kacie who rushes up to her. She sees her mom talking to Zane and Caroline. They all question if she's okay. Afterwards they all sit for dinner and then Julia drives them home while Jenna goes back up to rest. After a while Jenna hears a glass shatter. She rushes down to see what's going on. There lied shattered pieces of glass on the floor with a rock wrapped up with a note. She grabs a cloth that was on the couch and picks up the rock. Alarmed by that threat made she accidently drops the rock. She scrambles for her phone and dials the cops immediately. Soon the cops arrived, Julia pulls into the driveway. Worried she rushes in to see what happened as she notices that the front window had been broken. Neighbors peeked out of their windows to see what's happening. Mrs Leona, the neighbor from next door which Jenna use always visit comes rushing out of her house and catches up with Julia as she enters the house.

"What's going on officers?" Julia asks as looks around at the mess. Jenna grabs her mother in a hug and weeps.

"You both received a note saying that you both should watch out because someone's watching you. It also says that they are gonna take back what was taken from them. Whoever this person is I'm thinking it has something to do with Jacob. We'll give you both protection for the night."

Next day Jenna skipped college and made her way to see Jacob's family. She rings the doorbell when she noticed that this looked like the same house that Zane lived in. She was about to knock when someone grabs her from the back blocking her mouth, she struggles to get out. She's hit by something hard unable to realize what it is as she falls unconscious. She awakens shocked as a pale of cold water splashed all over her. Where am I, she thinks. She tries to look up, her eyes were blurry from the water that was splashed on her face. At last she's able to see and when she looks up she's surprised to see her next monster in disguise!

"ZANE !!" she is shocked to her core.

"Surprise, surprise sweetheart!" he grins which reminds Jenna of the same grin Jacob had.

"What are you doing? Get me out of here!" she demands.

"Why should I?"

Just then the sounds of footsteps are heard by Jenna. JACOB! she thinks to herself as her eyes widen. A female's voice breaks the ice of suspense as Jenna looks up and finds the same woman who was there to pick Zane up on his first day. She wore fitting clothes with too much make up and black high heel shoe. Something told Jenna she was dangerous.

"Where's Jacob?!" she demanded.

"I don't know, seems like the entire world's looking for him so why only ask me," she pauses as she realises this is Jacobs wife and son.

"Hold on, you're Jacob's family?" the question sounding more like a statement.

The looks on their faces stated that that was the obvious. They were angry and hurting and upset and Jenna knew it from all the speaking she done with Zane. She knew that he wanted his dad back.

"What do you want from me?"

"Jacob! that's what" his wife said.
