"Niya"
With my sister away on tour with her boyfriend, I told her I would watch the store with Raey. Lucky, the store was closed today. With all this chaotic in my life, I don't want to add the store to it. Dealing with a 5 year-old and my fiancee.
I wish I could be away like Yn. At least, her boyfriend is trying to turn over his bad ways. I just hate the fact that Christopher is basketball player and the lifestyle that comes with it. Partying, late nights with boys, Away games and the hoes throwing themselves at him. I can admit that I'm not all the way ready for it all, once we get married. I just tried to focus on the good and our daughter, Jaay.
I was wrecked, trying to get myself and Jaay ready for the day. But, Christopher had to walk in the door, distracting Jaay. I finished cleaning the mess Jaay made in the kitchen. Working my way into the living room.
"mommy help me" Jaay screamed, running into my legs. "daddy gonna get me" She panted. "what's going on" I asked. "I took daddy's chain" She hid behind me when she heard Chris's footsteps. "baby" I heard Chris coming down the steps. "you seen princess" he said. Jaay giggled aloud. "Princess" Chris said. Jaay slowly peeked her head out from behind me. "yessssss daddy" she slowly came out. "can daddy have his chain back"he reached for Jaay. She shook her head no, giggling. "ohkay" he said "guess the tickle monster has to come out and play" he started running after her as she screamed out, "no tickle monster, daddy" she ran off into the backyard. I stood there laughing.
It was great watching Chris play with Jaay. I only wish that it stay like this forever. He doesn't have to leave every 6 months or so. I guess I drifted off into space, hearing someone clear their throat. I turned. It was my assistant Kira.
"so, I got everything done as you requested" she said, peeking out the backdoor. "I'm not interrupting anything, am I" she asked softly. "no, not at all" I said. Looking at the files she brought. "this is great" I said. She nodded. "everyone is asking if it's still on for today" she questioned about the event I had planned. "um" I said, peeked out the door watching the Chris and Jaay. "let's rescheduled the event for next week" I told her. "alright then" she pulled out her planner, making notes. "I'll get right on and leave you to your family bonding. You guys are such a cute family" she said. "thanks" I said. I walked Kira out to her car before going in the house.
"we're going out for ice cream, mommie" Jaay rushed downstairs fully dressed and Chris right behind her. "baby" Chris walked up to me as I came in. "yeah" I said. He looked kind of worried about something. I hope it nothing bad. "we got to talk later" he grabbed his keys off the table by the front door. "about what" I asked nervously. "nothing really bad. Just about what's going happened with work" he said subtly.
Work. It's always something with work. I pray he's right and it's really nothing bad now.
