"A Mafia game, huh." Park Min-Ji muttered, staring at her phone screen. She thought that maybe it's just a harmless game on her phone and was planning to uninstall it but when she tried, it just won't delete the app. Her brows furrowed in puzzlement as she didn't even install the app in the first place and now it can't be remove in her phone.
She let out a sigh, she was irk to say the least. After doing her nightly routine, she then glance at her phone once more, scrolling through the rules of the game. Well, it is the typical rules which she is already familiar with.
Doctors can use their skills to heal or save the lives of other people, including themselves. The Police has the skill on knowing the identity of which they choose to know, their choice if they want to reveal it to the public but with the risk of revealing their identity. While the Mafia, they can kill anyone of their choice, will be holding a meeting on who to kill or execute as soon as everyone had fallen asleep.
While the Civilians? Well, for Park Min-Ji it seems like their role is just to stay alive until the game is finally over. They don't have any special skills like the Doctor or the Police. Nor do they have the power to kill anyone of their choosing, so to say the least, their role is pretty much boring.
But it is in the Civilians hands on how things would work, or how they would believe one another. Because they'll be discussing on who to vote out and be executed in the end, that they think as the Mafia. And if they manage to execute all of the Mafia, then they win. But if the Civilian side were to lose, then Mafia wins.
The game of Mafia is that easy.
"Hello losers! Is it my time to shine now?" Park Min-Ji stared at the message that pop in the app, she watch as Heo-Yool chat once again. "Is the Mafia Baek Eun-Ha?" At the mention of her name, she saw Baek Eun-Ha typing. To say, Min-Ji doesn't really know Eun-Ha that much, except for the fact that she's friends with Nam Yeon-Woo and is a part of So-Mi's circle, somehow.
"It's probably Heo-Yool. Let's kill him." The term kill makes Min-Ji's stomach churl. She doesn't know why but she don't want to be associated or to hear that term while they play this innocent game. With Eun-Ha's suggestion, there comes the amount of vote Heo-Yool gets.
Baek Eun-Ha voted for Heo-Yool.
Nam Yeon-Woo voted for Heo-Yool.
Im Eun-Chan voted for Heo-Yool.
She press on Heo-Yool's profile and it just clicks to her: 'How the heck did this game registered our names and picture?' She didn't remember registering in any websites nor was asked about this game. Licking her lips as she puts down her phone, she haven't yet casted her vote.
"This is so childish."
. . .
Leaving her room, Min-Ji decided to roam around the Youth Center, she was planning on changing into a more comfortable clothes but their teacher told them to keep on the uniform and Kim Jun-Hee had reminded them that.
Park Min-Ji remove her school blouse and vest and changes into a light blue sweater and kept her uniform skirt along with the knee high socks and instead of her high heeled shoes, she changed into a fluffy slippers she brought. She was planning on discarding the long socks but she thought it look cute so it stayed on her legs.
Another notification ding on her phone and she looked at it, it was once again on the chat of the anonymous app. Since there was no signal and they can't really talk to one another on a private message, the class decided to use the chat of the app as a way to communicate.
