PAST —

Today Was Christmas, Everyone was wearing their Christmas jumpers and being cozy. MARI also decided to make everyone hot chocolate to enjoy since it was cold out! They already unboxed all of their presents so they just simply wanted to hang out now ( before parting ways to spend time with their individual families ) . "MARI MARI!!" AUBREY shouts. MARI looks at her and smiles "What is it AUBS?" AUBREY then tells her she wants to make Christmas themed cookies. MARI agrees "Sure! It'd be a lovely idea:)" AUBREY jumps up and down excited and tells everyone. They all help too. Eventually, they finish making the cookies and now all that is left is for them to be baked. "Okay, I'll tidy up you guys can go and watch television?" MARI suggests and they all nod but HERO stays. "Need help?" He asks. MARI smiles and nods "Sure, I'd like help." They eventually clean all the dishes and put them away. HERO hugs MARI. "Heh? What's this for HERO?" She plays with his hair a bit. "uh. Well. Just wanted to thank you for all this." He says smiling. MARI nods. "Its alright." She hugs him back her hugs are warm and fuzzy. They literally lighten anyways days up.
FUTURE: —
It's The Christmas THREE YEARS After MARI's Passing, HERO was celebrating with his family. ( This Is A Year Before The Events Of The Game ) "Glad you could make it HERO!" KEL said hugging his brother. HERO smiled. "Me too." KELS hug was nice. But it wasn't like MARI's. Maybe it was because it was his brother though and MARI was his girlfriend. KEL let go and stepped back. "You okay?" KEL asked confused as HERO was just frozen for a few more seconds. "Ah- sorry. I was just thinking." HERO says calmly. KEL nods. "About.. MARI?" He asks looking away for a moment. HERO nods. "Yeah. Sorry.." KEL smiles and hugs him again but their mum calls them to come eat. "Ah. Let's go eat now." HERO says and KEL nods and follows behind him.
To be honest, every CHRISTMAS without MARI was cold, lonely and dull but. It was a little better with his family. So, he wasn't sad or anything. After all, he had to move on with life and do something else ( College ).
