**Tzuyu's POV:**
I sprinted through the bustling streets of Seoul, my backpack bouncing against my shoulders as the rhythmic beat of K-pop blasted through my earphones. I was already late for my first class at Seoul National University, and the last thing I needed was Sana scolding me for tardiness. Sana had been my girlfriend for a blissful 10 months, and she had this uncanny ability to predict when I'd be running behind schedule.
"Tzuyu, where are you? Class is about to start," Sana's voice crackled through the earphones, punctuating the urgency of the situation.
"I know, I know! I'm almost there," I panted into my phone, dodging pedestrians as I made a sharp turn into the university courtyard.
"You said that fifteen minutes ago! Jihyo's getting worried. You know how she is," Sana chided, her tone a mix of concern and frustration.
"I'll be there in a minute. Tell Jihyo not to start a search party," I teased, trying to lighten the mood.
"Search party? If you don't hurry, I might consider it," Sana replied, her voice tinged with mock seriousness.
I grinned, knowing she couldn't see it. "Don't worry, love. I'm practically at the door now."
As I burst into the lecture hall, slightly breathless and flushed, I spotted Sana giving me a pointed look. I raised an apologetic eyebrow, silently promising to make it up to her later.
**Sana's POV:**
I glanced at my watch, tapping my foot impatiently as I waited for Tzuyu to arrive. The buzzing sounds of the crowded street emanated from the other end of the call, and I could sense Tzuyu's hurried footsteps.
"Tzuyu, where are you? Class is about to start," I scolded, unable to hide the concern in my voice.
"I know, I know! I'm almost there," she replied, her breaths audible over the line.
"You said that fifteen minutes ago! Jihyo's getting worried. You know how she is," I warned, frustration creeping into my tone.
"I'll be there in a minute. Tell Jihyo not to start a search party," she quipped, attempting to lighten the mood.
"Search party? If you don't hurry, I might consider it," I shot back, a playful threat in my voice.
As Tzuyu burst into the lecture hall, slightly disheveled but with a teasing grin, I couldn't help but shake my head. This girl and her antics never failed to keep me on my toes.
"You owe me an explanation, missy," I whispered as she slid into the seat next to mine.
"I promise, I have a good reason," she replied, a mischievous twinkle in her eye. Little did we know, our banter would soon be overshadowed by events that would test the bonds of our friendships and relationships in ways we never expected
**Tzuyu's POV:**
The weight of the breakup hung heavy in the air as Sana dragged me into the schoolyard after class. The words she uttered, however, caught me off guard, each syllable striking like a sharp blow. My heart sank as Sana explained that she was now dating Bangchan, the leader of Stray Kids. I knew they were close, but the sudden revelation left me stunned.
"We need to break up, Tzuyu," Sana said, her eyes avoiding mine.
I nodded in silent resignation, the pain settling in my chest. The irony wasn't lost on me – the couple that used to get caught making out in class or on the rooftop, now torn apart by a newfound romance.
"But," Sana continued, "we still need to act like a couple in front of the others. At least for now."
I forced a nod, my mind swimming with conflicting emotions. Without another word, I left her in the schoolyard, the echoes of our shared past haunting my steps.
