Later That Night...
“Ugh! That guy just wouldn't. Stop. Talking!” Velvet said as she and Veneer's
assistant held open the door of their limo.
"But isn't that literally his job?” Veneer said, putting his hands on his hips.
"I mean he could just shut up and give us a chance to hear our thoughts! He was
just giving me a headache!" Velvet groaned
"Well so far it looks like the public response is good, people are really liking the
interview!" Veneer handed Velvet his phone. Velvet snatched it out of his hand
and immediately started scrolling through the posts.
"Ugh, it's just the normal stuff! I want something new!” she sighed as she handed
Veneer back his phone. As they kept driving Veneer felt his phone buzz. He saw a
notification from Instagram. He was used to getting DMs from random fans, but
this was from a verified account. He clicked on the notification and it took him to
a text from Kid Ritz. Veneer felt his slight frown turn into a soft smile. The
message read:
RITZ_01: Hey! It's ritz from the interview
Normally, Veneer wouldn't respond in the hope of not saying something that
could ruin his reputation. But he was bored so he decided to text back.
V_Sparkles: Hiii thanks for having me and Vels on the show!!!!!!!!
RITZ_01: No problem bro! It was an honor having u both. Tbh im not used to having
the most famous popstars on my show
V_Sparkles: And I'm not used to hot guys asking me questions
Veneer's face turned a bright red as he realized what he had sent. He shoved his
phone in his pocket and turned his attention to the passing landscape outside the
car window.
About 15 minutes later, the car pulled up to their mansion. They slowly stepped
out of the car and made their way into the large, luxurious house.

"God I'm exhausted! I'm going to bed, and you should too. We can't have you
zoning out again.” Velvet said as she made her way down the hallway. Veneer
nodded and headed into his room. He shut his door and immediately took a
shower and got changed into more comfortable clothes. He plopped down onto
his bed and pulled out his phone.
RITZ_01: hey man, it's my job. But it probably wouldve ended up happening anyway ;)
RITZ_01: you got any plans for tomorrow?
V_Sparkles: Nah, prob just gonna sit around all day
RITZ_01: would you wanna go out for lunch or smthn?
V_Sparkes: Sounds fun! Hope you're okay with paparazzi
RITZ_01: i am a paparazzi XD
V_Sparkles: Ha! So its a date?
RITZ_01: Yeah, see you tmrw ;)
