i had the worst day my case just didn't go well and i found out my dad died and all the trauma has just been coming back to me as i enter my office and sit down with my elbows on my knees i hold my head in my hands rubbing my face as i sit up i sigh i know i shouldn't handle this myself so i text lucy

Tim - hey hunny can you come to my office

when lucy enters tims office she can tell something's wrong
Lucy - hey are u ok?
Tim wipes at the tears on his face
Tim - i really just need you rn hunny
lucy walks over to him and sits on his lap she wipes at his tears she presses a kiss to his forehead
Lucy - oh hunny what's wrong
Tim - i had a really bad day and umm my dad died
Lucy - oh sweetie i'm so sorry

tim wraps his arms around her he hugs her tight not wanting to let go lucy rubs his back

a little bit later tim finally unburies his head from her chest and lucy wipes away his tears they go to leave on the drive home tim keeps his hand on lucy's thigh giving it a few squeezes when he's not doing good when they pull into tim's driveway the second he turns the truck office his head goes to the steering wheel as he starts to sob
Lucy - oh hunny let's go inside come on
lucy helps him out lucy sits down on the couch tim lays his head in her lap looking up at her lucy plants a kiss on his head as she runs her fingers through his hair

Lucy - tim hunny i know it dosent help but you didn't deserve anything he did to you
