So, for those who've made it this far, I appreciate you taking the time to read this. Like I said, this is just the first part of a larger story I had in mind, although I don't know when that one will be ready. Especially since the next part's going to be split into two separate stories: one focuses on Rey and Finn's separate adventures, and another that focuses on Poe and Rogue Squadron. So that'll be coming sometime in the new year.
Just one thing I'd like to clarify in regards to my fancasting: I started crafting this story in 2020, and began the fancastings then. Lance Reddick is/was one of my favorite actors, which is why I fancast him as Darth Voris. I know he has since sadly passed away (RIP), but considering how much of the character I wrote with him in mind, it wouldn't feel right to change it. That said, every other actor I fancast in my stuff will be (as I write them out) currently still with us, at least by my time of posting. Just wanted to get that out of the way.
Finally, I do also plan on posting this on fanfiction.net as well. Casting a wider net to reach more readers. That'll probably happen over the course of the next several days.
