After getting to know Avery and why she picked the childcare profession I felt like an ass for judging her.

Turns out she's the 3rd oldest of 9 kids. And with her parents working like crazy to take care of all of them they were left to fend for themselves when it come to school, hygiene and basically everyday life. 2 of her siblings were also special needs which is another thing she is certified in.

"So I know we got off on the wrong foot but honestly your the most qualified candidate I have came across and I would love it if you would take the job." I started off.

"I'm starting to work outrageous hours and I need all the help I can get when it comes to the twins. I'm also not going to sugarcoat them. They can be little assholes but honestly they just miss their dad and there isnt enough hours in the day for me to take good care of them and run my business." I said being completely honest. I needed to be completely transparent if I wanted her to take the job.

"Ok. Can I ask a few questions before I accept your offer." She asked pulling out a small notepad and pen. " Of course." I said.

"Ok so I know the twins names and age. Can I ask about their dad or any other relatives. Are there any types of behaviors that you are worried about. And do they have any special needs or accommodations I should know about." She asked sounding professional ass hell.

I mean I know this was an interview but girl you finna be living here you dont gotta be so damn proper.

"Well their dad, my brother died in a car accident last year." I said taking a deep breath. That shit fucks with me every time I say it. "They have their grandma, my mother who they go to when I have back to back meeting's or when they want to see her.

She nodded her head taking down that bit of information.

"Hallie tends to have very frequent episodes of not wanting to talk. Her therapist calls it selective mutism. We have been learning sign which is another reason why I picked you. She will answer every now and again but most of the time she just looks at me." I said feeling my heart get heavy.

I have no idea whats going on in my niece's head and feel like I'm failing her.

"Hey I know that look." Avery said reaching her hand out to me. I looked up at her as I waited for her to speak. "You arent doing anything wrong here. You took in your niece and nephew after a very traumatic accident and you are getting them all the help they need. Thats all that matter." She said smiling at me.

She really does have a beautiful ass smile.

"Thank you Avery. That means a lot to me." I said returning the smile.

"No problem. I'm not just here for the kids. I'm here for you as well Ms. Williams." She said placing her hand on mine.

I looked deep into her eyes as I listen to what she said. She's here for me as well. No one as ever been here for besides my brother.

"So does this mean your taking the job." I asked looking down at our hands before looking back up at her face. She slowly removed her hand and I almost sighed at the lack of contact.

What the fuck. I dont even like people touching me.

"Yes I accept the job Ms. Williams.

"Well in that case you dont have to call me Ms. Williams. You will be living here and we will eventually become apart of each other everyday life. Call me Aspen please." I said smirking a bit.

It wasnt on purpose....ok maybe it was she was fine alright. Sue me for having eyes I guess.

"Ok Aspen." She said in a tone that made my clit throb a little bit.

What the actual fuckkkkk.
