Little Narration: Danielle and Minji both live in a large apartment complex and their apartments are directly opposite each other. They often see each other in the morning when work calls and also meet after work. Most of their encounters take place in the elevator and this is where this story will take its course. . .
And so began another morning and another day for the boring routine that could be called life. In fact, there was only one thing that made it at least a little sweeter for Danielle. Because every morning at this exact time, she could enjoy the elevator ride with her neighbor: Kim Minji.
She had been crushing on her for a long time. She looked pretty, seemed very polite and when she spoke to her, her voice rang through her whole body. But Danielle had never dared to ask her out before. She didn't know much more about Minji, did she even like women? Maybe she already had someone.
Perhaps a little nervous, Danielle now stood there. Right next to the person in question and they waited for the elevator together. "Good morning," came from her and she glanced over at the woman at her side, who just nodded her head: "Likewise."
She wished she could talk to her more than the typical greetings in the morning or when they ran into each other. Nevertheless, Danielle let her gaze drift over every now and then. She would call it recharging her batteries for the day.
If Danielle had her way, she could spend the whole day watching them. Taking in all her features with every detail and falling in love with them even more, then again, it could only become harder to resist her. Besides, Danielle became lost in her thoughts far too quickly.
"Still coming?" Minji then asked the other girl, who was already standing in the elevator with her hand against the door. Danielle was completely torn from her thoughts, a slight blush spread across her cheeks and she nodded in response. How embarrassing was that, argh.
Danielle stood next to Minji again and looked at the floor. How could she be so absent-minded at this moment? "I... um... was just thinking about whether I'd forgotten anything else, yeah," she uttered her words subconsciously, wiping a few strands of hair behind her ear.
However, she didn't get an immediate answer, which only made Danielle more nervous. That was stupid, wasn't it? She should have just kept quiet, that would have been a better idea. "I also forget a few things from time to time, so don't worry." With that, the older one glanced over at her briefly and gave her a gentle smile.
A smile that could melt her away far too easily. Danielle only gave her a shy smile back and began to play with the ends of her hair. What could she say next to keep the conversation going? It was starting so well, surely she could make something more of it, right?
Just as she had plucked up the courage to do so and Danielle turned in Minji's direction, the elevator suddenly came to a harsh stop, causing her to lose her balance on her legs and fall in Minji's direction.
