Little Narration: We are on the grounds of a university. Soomin is at the beginning of her studies and is trying to fight her way through all the lessons until she meets the head of the university's health center: Yooyeon. What was initially just a visit for an abrasion on her knee turned into a daily visit so she could be close to her crush... which doesn't do well to her exams.
And the groundhog greets us daily. As usual, a very specific person was in the room at the health center, waiting to be treated by the doctor working here. Today, of course, she came up with something very special, because this time there was really bad pain in her ankle! Of course, it was complete nonsense that Soomin had made up, but how else could she convince the doctor of her fake pain?
The sound of footsteps could be heard, today the doctor was probably wearing her high heels again. By now, Soomin could actually tell what kind of footwear the other woman was wearing by the sound alone. Her eyes immediately wandered over and could fully shine in the glow of the incoming beauty. Dr. Kim Yooyeon, by far the most beautiful woman in the entire university - at least according to Soomin. It was love at first sight, Yooyeon was just her type, she had no control over it at all.
Let's be honest, surely there weren't that many people who looked that hot in a white coat, were there? Maybe she was just down bad, but nobody could tell her that it left them completely unfazed. "...Earth to Soomin?" It took a while for her to realize that Yooyeon was addressing her. Taken out of her thoughts, she shook her head briefly and blinked several times, "I'm here!" A small smile spread across the doctor's lips and Soomin was about to disappear into the land of daydreams again.
"And why are you here this time today?" the doctor posed the question and went to her desk before turning her attention back to the student. Soomin cleared her throat and acted out the pain in her face as she stroked her right ankle with one hand: "I think I've sprained my ankle." The pain-filled face turned into a wry smile as Yooyeon looked over at her. You could tell by the look on her face that she didn't believe the whole thing, but she got up from her seat nonetheless.
Her legs carried her over to Soomin, she gestured for her to sit on the bedside so she could look at the problem. Without further orders, Soomin followed her words and perhaps made herself a little too comfortable, which drew an unobtrusive amused sound from the doctor. Yooyeon pulled a stool over and sat on it, lifting up the leg Soomin had been stroking earlier with her other hand and placing it on her lap.
She carefully felt the joint and checked for anything unusual, whether it was swollen or whether something else was not quite the norm. Much to the delight of Soomin, who obviously couldn't get enough of it. The search didn't last long, however, as there was nothing to find. "Your ankle is fine, are you sure you're in that much pain?" the doctor asked again as a precaution, her gaze drifting back over to the younger girl. Soomin couldn't quite hide the fact that she was obviously telling a lie, but she stuck to her game and nodded her head.
An inevitable sigh stumbled across Yooyeon's lips. Of course, she already knew what was going on and it was cute at first, but if she continued like this, she would ruin her future. "I guess I can't help then, maybe you should take it to the hospital," came the answer to the nod and the older girl got up from the stool to go back to her desk. Once there, she picked up the phone to turn the words into action.
Interestingly, however, she was stopped in her tracks when Soomin suddenly jumped over the hospital bed like a sports ace and grabbed the phone with both hands. Another wry grin followed: "I... I don't think that's necessary. You've always helped me so well so far, I don't need another opinion, really." Carefully, she took the device from Yooyeon's hand and placed it back on the charging station, which earned her a skeptical look from the doctor. "Seems like the pain has gone away, hmm?" she gestured down to the foot with her eyes before looking back up into Soomin's face.
Realizing too late, Soomin was playfully surprised that everything was suddenly back to normal: "See, I told you that you were the only one I needed!" The younger girl moved normally and happily showed that everything was fine before turning her attention back to the doctor. "What would I do without you?" Soomin actually tried to continue her little flirtation, but apparently it wasn't working at the moment: "You'd actually concentrate on your lessons." A deliberate stab at her heart... but Yooyeon wasn't entirely wrong in this situation.
"Ouch", hearing the truth was not always harmless, but apparently she had to be told sooner or later. Soomin dropped her gaze to the ground, had she already lost her chance? Was there even a chance for her? Resigned to defeat, Soomin grabbed her backpack and shouldered it and was about to walk out the door before Yooyeon's voice rang out again: "...during the semester break, you'll definitely have more free time to do whatever you want." Like music to her ears, was hope not lost after all? Soomin turned to her with a broad grin before nodding happily and hopping through the door. Yooyeon herself shook her head at her behavior, but a visibly amused smile was on her face.
The end . . . ?
