A/N: Just want to clarify that the reader here is in Japan for the first time AND poorly handles chopsticks. AND I HOPE IM NOT WORDING ANYTHING WRONG BECAUSE IF I AM, PLEASE KINDLY TELL ME TO CHANGE IT AND I WILL!!

Your parents kicked you out of the hotel room because you were apparently 'misbehaving'.

You scoffed, it was Christmas break and you were SUPPOSED to be having a fun time in Japan.

They didn't even give you a jacket or anything! They just kicked you out.

You had some yen left from when your father gave you some earlier to buy the stuff you wanted. Thank goodness you didn't spend all of it yet.

You went to a nearby convenience store and bought some cheap cup noodles and let it heat up before you start to eat it.

..You felt like a loser. Especially with the fact the noodles keep on slipping off the chopsticks.

You saw a stranger sit next to you, eating the same pair of cup noodles you were eating. You wanted to strike up a conversation, but the words were stuck in your throat and your brain told you to not say a word.

He looked quite handsome, and you couldn't help but stare. And immediately snapping back into reality once you realize it's probably creepy to the stranger that you're just blatantly staring at them. And you were in a foreign country...

You continued to eat your cup noodles while poorly handling the chopsticks.

"You're a foreigner, aren't you?"

You slightly jumped at the stranger asking the question.

"U-Umm... Yes..?"

"Knew it."

The stranger chuckles triumphantly and continues slurping his noodles.

"W..What does that mean..?"

"The way you handle your chopsticks is bad."

You become slightly offended at the comment.

"It's not like I handle them every single day.."

You frown as you look back to your noodles, and to your chopsticks.

"And anyone can be bad at handling chopsticks!"

"Right."

He smirks and grabs the cup and drinks the soup.

You sulk as you eat your noodles. Feeling more of a loser and an outsider since you do not understand anyone AT ALL. And the only person you've actually had a full English conversation (since you let your parents do all the talking) with is making fun of you for the way you badly handle your chopsticks.

"Your parents kick you out?"

"Um... Sort of."
Yes.

"Same. My mom abandoned me when I was young."

What the fuck why is the stranger trauma dumping now.
