Chapter 2: interview

While taking a seat you look around the room and it looks bland, really different from the other rooms which have really pretty colors, Crimp grabs a paper and looks at you

Crimp:"Are you a good hairdresser and stylist?

You:" yes. My former bosses always loved how I did their hair, along with other people, if they needed their hair to be done, they would run to me."

Crimp:" Good. Are you familiar with Velvet and Veneer? Their music, their taste, etc.?"

You:"Not quite but I do listen to their music and I'm sure I know how to style them, including clothing and hair."

Crimp:" Are you capable of multi-tasking?"

You:"Not quite but I always try to do everything everyone wants me to do."

Crimp:"Well, that's all the questions I have for you.

You:"So I'm hired?"

Crimp:"Oh no, you haven't even been interviewed by Velvet and Veneer yet to see if you fit for them."

You:"Oh, right.."

Crimp:"Come along dear, I'll take you to their place, where they will be."

You:"Ok!"

You follow Crimp to their place where she says they usually stay until it's time to go home. It took a few minutes and you almost lost her considering how small she is and how she almost blended in with the floor. When you guys are in front of Velvet and Veneer's door, it has a big star on it with their names on it.

Crimp grabs a card and jumps to scan it on the scanner. The doors open automatically, Crimp walks inside first, with you following behind, you spend time looking around the room. It has such pretty colors, some of them dark, some of them bright.

You see two vanities, which you thought belonged to Velvet and Veneer.
You see couches and fuzzy carpets, which of course, looked expensive. You see two walk-in closets on opposite sides of the room, and you see a pet monkey? Strange. While browsing their place, you hear Crimp say

Crimp:"they will be here soon, take a seat on the couch, I can't stay here, I'm sorry."

You:"Oh, ok, I'll see you later?"

Crimp:"Yes, hopefully you get chosen ."

She leaves the room, leaving you and your thoughts alone, you sit yourself down on the couch she says to sit down at, it's really comfy, probably more comfortable than your own bed you thought. Your thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the door sliding open, revealing the stars, Velvet and Veneer.

Velvet:"Gosh, how long is it going to take to finally find a decent assistant?! I'm starting to get tired of all these interviews."

Veneer:"Right? Most of these people always just run out crying."

They glance over to you, and they look at you up and down.

Velvet:"Are you here for the interview?

You:"Yes."

Velvet gets closer to you until she's just in front of your face. Your feeling really nervous considering how close she is, you even feel your face getting a bit heated

Velvet:"Let's get started then."

Veneer grabs a paper which has everything about you and hands it over to Velvet so that they can both take a look at it.

Velvet:"It says here that you have good taste in clothes and you know exactly what to give people?"

You:"Yes, people always come to me to see if a certain style looks good for them or not."

Velvet:"Dear, why don't you use that talent on yourself? It looks like you got your clothes from a dumpster."

Velvet and Veneer laugh at you while you just look down on the floor feeling more embarrassed than you have before. You even had to fight back tears so you don't embarrass yourself even more.

Veneer:"Whatever, everything else looks good. I would say she should be our assistant."

Velvet:"I guess, your hired."

You look up with happiness in your eyes, and those tears from earlier almost turn into tears of happiness.

You:"Really? thank you!"

Velvet:"But you better do a good job at it or else we'll fire you on the spot."

And it looks like she means it, you see the determination in her eyes, it kind of scared you.

Velvet:"You will start tomorrow. Be here at 7 am, no later than that.

Veneer:"I hope you'll do a good job tomorrow."

You:"Yes. Thank you."

You leave feeling excited and happy that you finally have a job, you hope they don't go all overboard on you tomorrow.

HI, I'm sorry I meant to update a chapter 2 yesterday but I had thought I lost this chapter so I went and did another chapter 2 but without any motivation and my phone was on 2% Soo, I'm glad to finally give you people a chapter 2, I'll see if I can do chapter 3 today or tomorrow, but Christmas theme🎁⛄
