„What the hell are you doing here, you idjit?"

Bobby Singer only knew a few people that would visit him on a random Thursday afternoon. Especially without announcement. Dean Winchester sure was one of them, still the man was surprised to see him. Especially with a little girl trailing after the hunter.

It had been months since Bobby had last heard of the young man. Sometimes he had talked to his father, John, but whenever he had asked where Dean was or if he could talk to him, John had come up with some excuse or hung up.

So Dean showing up on his door with his dad no where to be seen, raised a couple of red flags for Bobby.

„Thought I would swing by for a visit. I was in the area." Dean grinned, well aware that this had to be a bit if a shocker for the older man.  Still he had thought it would be better not to call and funnier for sure. „You got time?"

Distracted by the girl behind Dean, Bobby nodded. Where the hell did Dean get her? Did John get turned into a child or something? Sure sounded like something that could happen to those idiots.

„What's with the kid?" Bobby nodded at Kyra, waiting for Dean to respond.

Instead the girl stepped forward, introducing herself: „Hi, I'm Kyra! Dean said you're my grandpa Bobby!"

She gave him a big, sweet smile. Dean heard exactly how unusually high and innocent her voice got and turned around to her.

„Ey, you don't sound like that! Stop ass-kissing!" Playfully he swatted his hand at her, slow enough for Kyra to doge it. „And I told you to only call him that when we're alone!"

Exposed on her bullshit, Kyra's smile turned into a mischievous grin, showing her teeth.

„Fine! But I'll still call him grandpa. I mean look how white he's getting." The girl pointed at Bobby, who had indeed lost all colour in his face.

Dean was able to catch him just in time before he would have fallen backwards into the door. Kyra let out a surprised sound. That was definitely not what she meant to do.

„Woah, there!" Dean grunted under the weight of Bobby's body leaned against his. „Get up! It's not that bad!"

It wasn't until they were inside on the couch and one shot of Whiskey later, that Bobby was able to speak again.

Dean was sitting to him, trying best not to laugh. Meanwhile Kyra was draped over the armchair, wiggling her feet around.

„She's... your kid?" Bobby figured.

He wasn't really sure if he wanted the answer to be yes or no. Yes would mean hiding boy was a teen dad... but no would mean that Dean kidnapped a child.

But seeing how relaxed Kyra was, looking around the room, sharing amused glances with Dean... yeah, it had to be the first option.

„She is." Dean nodded along, filling himself a glass of the whiskey. „Got her back a couple months ago."

„Got her back?" Eyes wide, Bobby stared at the boy. „The fuck do you mean got her back?"

Downing the brown liquid in one big gulp, Dean waved to Kyra. „How about you go play outside for a bit?"
