As Vessel's boyfriend slammed the door behind him he left Vessel to break down on the floor all alone.

After enduring the relentless mistreatment inflicted by his boyfriend, the devastated Vessel crumpled to the floor, overwhelmed by emotions. In a desperate attempt to seek solace, he reached for his phone, intending to dial III.

Vessel's vision was blurry as he tried to get through the pain and dial III's number. Blood oozed from his eyes as he struggled to read the numbers.

Vessel laid on the ground and broke down as he cried. The entire experience was too traumatic for him and he was left in a terrible place. He desperately tried to get the right number to call, he called III as soon as he could but when he answered the phone Vessel had no idea what was happening.

"I-III... I-I need your help." In a voice fractured with pain, Vessel uttered his words, conveying the depth of his emotional turmoil.

III immediately heard the pain and suffering in Vessel's voice and his stomach churned. With his heart fluttering in his chest, he tried desperately to put himself back together to offer the help Vessel needed. He knew he couldn't abandon his lover but he felt so ill himself, hearing his pain.

"V-Vessel, what happened? Are you safe?" III asked, as he immediately got an answer. "N-no, i-it didn't go well." Vessel spoke, broaching the topic of his tumultuous breakup with his undesired boyfriend.

III's entire body was numb but that changed when Vessel's words registered in his head. A surge of rage tore through his bones and his heart was beating so fast it felt like it would pound itself to pieces. All he wanted to do was get to Vessel, to hold him and to make sure he was okay.

"W-where are you. I'm coming to get you. Now!" III exclaimed in desperation.

Vessel uttered in a faltering voice, struggling to articulate, "Home..."

III didn't wait a second in response to his lover's pain and terror. He grabbed his keys, his phone, his wallet and his coat and shot out the door. He had no idea what he was walking into but there was no way he was letting Vessel suffer alone. With every footstep, his pace quickened and he raced towards Vessel's house at full speed.

III's heart was racing so much that he didn't even let himself finish breathing. The anger he felt towards Vessel's partner was unbearable.

"V-Vessel.... S-stay there. I'm c-coming now. I'm... I'm gonna kill him. I'll be there in five minutes. S-stay on the phone with me while I'm on my way." He tried to stay calm enough to speak but his heart was beating in his ears.

Vessel, hiccuping and overcome with sobs, conveyed, "He's not here..." in a voice strained with distress.

III froze at the sound of Vessel's voice that was now mixed in with heavy tears. He was relieved that Vessel's partner wasn't present but he felt sickened that the person he loved had been treated so poorly. It suddenly dawned on him that Vessel's words had implied that his partner had left. The sudden urge to protect and care for Vessel was almost crushing his chest. He was still angry at his partner's abusive behavior but that would be dealt with later.

"Vessel..." his voice quivered as he spoke. "Stay on the phone with me, I'm coming. Please, stay on the phone with me."

His voice cracked with anguish and his stomach twisted into knots to hear Vessel in such a terrible state. "V-Vessel... are you hurt?"

"Yes," Vessel further broke down, succumbing to even deeper emotional distress after admitting that.

III's heart dropped to his stomach and he felt like throwing up and passing out. How could someone do this to someone they claimed to love? No matter what their relationship was like, that kind of behavior was absolutely unacceptable.
