My first times

chapter 3

At lunch

Once my lecture finished I went to Aya's class and waited for her to come out.

"Oh hey girl!" Aya says with a big smile
"Hi" I uttered quietly and I start walking slowly with her
"You look red in the face what happened? " she questions me worryingly
"I don't know I feel like there is a knot in my stomach and my face feels warm " I explain to her.

"OMG!!" she squeals "You have a crush on someone!" 

"A what ??" I ask puzzled
"A crush is when you like someone romantically and you have feelings for them that's why you have butterflies in your stomach" she explains.

I feel my face warm up. I sat down and ate my lunch with her.

"So who is it?" she chirped excitingly

"The new transfer student " I explain

"Do you know his name?" she asks with curiosity

"no..." I say puzzled

"In your next lesson ask him" she explains.

We finish eating and chatting and the time came to head back to our lessons. I walk back to my lecture room. As I enter I see him. My heart beats fast as I lay my eyes on him. Oh no I'm sitting next to him. OK act normal it just a crush.

"Okay class today you are going to do portraits but based on your desk mate. I look forward to seeing everyone's portraits also you can use any media"

I look towards my crush and he faces me. I feel my face start to heat up. He smiles at me.

"Hi I'm Alice nice to meet you" I say with a blushing face and a slight wavering smile

"Hello, I am Atlas it is very nice to meet you too" he gently smiles at me.

We sit in front of each other and we both start painting each other.

I struggled getting his fair pale skin colour and his "beautiful ocean blue eyes" I realised I said that out loud I look up from my canvas and I see his face turned away and his left hand covering his mouth. I see his ears glowing bright red.

"um are you OK?" unsure if I made him uncomfortable

"I'm fine really! It nothing." he nervously stutters

"Oh okay, did I make you uncomfortable?"

"No no not at all it just what you said about my eyes it really flustered me" he blushes as he turns his head away and looks at me from the side of his eye.

"You also have very gorgeous eyes" he smiles softly as he speaks

I feel my face warm up and I hide it with my hands.

This boy is going to be the death of me.
