Chapter 5: Thank you

Ashton's POV

I woke up because of the sun shining on my face.

I sigh

I get up but i immediately groan because of the pain all over my body

I get out of bed and walk to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face, as i finished, a knock came on the door.

I walked out of the bathroom and went to the door and opened it, Kenneth greeted my face.

"Heyoww, you're awake now bro, good good. Let's go, breakfast is ready, Don is also there" he said while giving me a pat in the back making me hiss and glare at him.

He raised both of his hands as a sign of surrendering

"Ok, I'll just change, wait for me." i said and closed the door. Immediately hearing Kenneth's yell of me closing the door without letting him in.

He opened the door and immediately went inside, while i went to my walk in closet to get clothes.

"Hey! I was supposed to go in bro, why lock!" he said while walking inside and sat on my bed.

I rolled my eyes because of what he said, i remained quiet and continue to find clothes to wear.

In the end i wore a gray sweater, paired with gray sweatpants.

"Who's joining for breakfast?" I asked.

We're here at our mansion right now, Kenneth most likely sleepover again here.

Kenneth Alvarez, my best friend ever since he was a kid. His dad and my dad we're best friends ever since they were kids as the Alvarez Mafia and the Cassius mafia formed a partnership. He specializes in using guns, especially snipers. He treats his weapons like his babies.

"Don, your grandfather, and your grandmother" he said.

I went out my walk in closet and head to the door, Kenneth stood up the bed and walk beside me as we head out to my room.

We walked through the hallways while Kenneth's blabbering about random things, until he mentioned something that piqued my interest.

"By the way, you remembered your savior? She's also joining for breakfast" he said while walking.

"Why is she here?"  i asked.

"Don called for her" he answered.

"Maybe to talked about matters from yesterday since hindi yon napag usapan kahapon dahil kailangan din naming magpahinga" he continued.

"Celine was it?" tanong ko pa.

"Yes bro, ang ganda niya no? Malakas pa, she's the top 1 in ranking" dagdag niya pa na nagpakunoot ng noo ko.

She's the top 1, that explains why i rarely see her sa base. Top 1 rankings usually means more missions assigned to you, missions that are very dangerous that's why it's assigned to the top 10 rankers.

"Yes indeed, she is beautiful" sagot ko sa sinabi niya.

Napatingin naman sakin si Kenneth na naka nganga at napahinto.

"Bro, ikaw paba yan? You don't even compliment girls even if i tell you they're beautiful tapos kay Celine nag agree kapa na maganda siya tignan" sabi niya na para bang isa na akong hindi karaniwang tao sa harapan niya habang naglalakad papunta sakin ng mabilis dahil nauuna na ako sakaniya.
