Chapter 7: Time for work

Ashton's POV

It has been a week after the kidnapping incident.

Naghihilom na ang mga sugat na natamo ko dahil kay Lewis.

And tomorrow, i am planning to go to work again.

I'm heading to dad's office to let him know that I'm going to start working tomorrow.

Lumiko ako sa hallway at nakita na ang office ni Dad. Kumatok ako sa pintuan and i heard dad said 'come in'.

"Oh, son, what brings you here?" sabi ni Dad habang nag pipirma ng mga papeles at tumingin ulit si Dad sakin.

"I'm planning to go back to work tomorrow, I'm starting to get bored here" sabi ko.

"Oh well, that's fine for me. Your wounds are starting to heal so all good to me." Dad said.

"I'll call Celine now to let her know that she's starting work tomorrow too" he added and kinuha ang cellphone niya and called Celine.

"Oh" dad said, and contacted her again.

Celine's POV

*Bang* *Bang* *Bang*

I am here right now in the shooting range.

I kept firing the gun to the fake human body, 20 meters away from me.

*Bang* *Bang* *Bang*

Bullseye.

It hit it's head.

I was about to continue firing more when i saw in my phone that Don was calling.

I removed my earpuffs and answered Don's call, putting my phone in my ears.

"Good evening Celine" don said.

"Good evening Don" i said.

"I'm here to tell you that you're starting work tomorrow, my son wants to work tomorrow." he said.

"I understand, okay" sabi ko.

"Please be early tomorrow at exact 8:30am tomorrow, dito sa mansion namin, we'll send your work clothes to your condo today" dagdag ni Don.

"Okay Don, thank you" sabi ko.

He ended the call, and tumingin ulit ako sa shooting range.

Umalis nako at nag drive pabalik sa condo ko.

Well, hopefully everything will go well tomorrow.

Ashton's POV

Binaba na ni Dad ang call kay Celine at ngumiti sakin.

"You'll see her tomorrow" sabi ni Dad.

Nagsulubong ang kilay ko sa sinabi niya at tumango na lang.

"You know son, you can't hide it to me, you're interested in her" sabi niya at ngumiti sakin ng nakakaasar.

"Dad" i said warningly.

"Oh, come on, I'm just telling the truth." dagdag niya pa at tumawa.

I heaved a sigh.

"Yes, I'm interested in her" sabi ko na lang.

Dad laughed to what i said.

"Oh well, I'll support you sa mga decisions mo" sabi ni Dad.

"Either way, you and Celine seem to be a good match" dad said teasingly and laughed.
