"Thank you, Duchness Alana. Really I mean it." "Don't sweat it, I heard from the emperor that y/n will marry Mikey when she turns 18?" Dad nodded his head and Alana looks at mikey, "they'll make a cute, but powerful couple." Alana said making dad confused, "what do you mean?" "Mikey is stubborn- and will probably rule over the empire with a iron fist. While y/n, she seems like the calm type unless she changes- she will be a good empress." Alana said while Mikey just stares back at the 3 of you.

"Hopefully, Y/n doesn't ever run away when she's older- you know getting an arranged marriage is never the best." This made dad look at her, "the only reason I'm a Duchness is because I had an arranged marriage with the son of the old Duke." Alana said making Dad look at her shocked, "yes, I do love him now but not always, after a while we wind up working it out, well now look at us, we have 2 beautiful boys." She said chuckling. She all of a sudden stopped everything, put her fan down and faced dad and asked "You think Himari could marry one of my twin boys in the future?" Alana requested from D/n and he looked shocked- "not only did we get a proposal for y/n but now for Himari to?" Dad said with a chuckle, he did agree to it though. "Himari would be an amazing Duchness, just look at her." She said while looking at the mother and daughter bonding moment. Himari and M/n was dancing together. "I love m/n so much." Dad said while looking at mom in a awe motion.

Alana chuckled and started to recall moments when they were younger...

FLASH BACK

Little D/n was walking down the street with his dad, as they continued to walk he saw 2 girls. "Alana!" A H/c one said out loud as the black haired girl- named Alana took her bracelet.

As The h/c-ed girl chased after her friend she all of a sudden bumped into the little D/n. "Oh my, D/n are you okay?" His dad asked and helped him up. When d/n got up, he instantly helped the girl up. "Are you okay?" He asked her as she nodded. "I'm M/n!" The girl said offering a handshake which dad took- "Im D/n..." he said blushing at the girl.

D/n's dad just watched and chuckled "young love" he said before continuing to walk making D/n flustered and told the girl named M/n bye fast before catches up with his father.

END OF FLASH BACK

"Such cute moments! I miss being young." Alana said while d/n blushed from embarrassing and old love moments. "But regardless I love being my age... because I have my boys and loving husband." Alana said glancing at her husband who was sitting and talking with their sons.

"Hey!" A little boy approached the 3 of you. "Prince Mikey! Hi!" Alana said in a wholesome tone before taking him in her hands. "Who's she!!" Mikey asked loudly pointing at you. "Shhh, she's a baby, Prince Mikey. She's sleeping." He shrugged and asked again "who's is she?" "She's Lady Y/n." "Why is she here?" Mikey asked the Duchness, "because she's the daughter of the Marquess." Alana replied. Mikey went silent and just stared at you "she's pretty." Mikey said, making Alana and D/n chuckle.

"You like her?" Alana asked and he shrugged, "she's a baby, can't walk, can't talk, only sleep. She can't be my friend." He said giving you a side eye. "Does he know?" Alana shaked her head no in reply "he'll know when he's older." Alana replied making Mikey confused but he could careless tbh. "She'll be able to do the things you do Mikey. Just needs time." Mikey shrugged and asked "what are you gonna get me for my birthday?" Alana chuckled, "your birthday? It's not for a few months." Alana replied making Mikey pout.

(THE DATE IS FEBRUARY, 24 1991)

"So? You can always give it to me early!" He replied hugging her, Alana chuckled at Mikey. "How can he talk so good? He's only 1." Dad asked, "Since he's the prince of Japan he needs to be able to communicate even at this young age." She explained hinting at the fact Mikey went through many speech lessons to be able to talk like a Prince. "Oh. I understand..." D/n felt a little bad for Mikey, he's very childish around Alana but while up on the throne stage he acted mature.

Everything all of a sudden got quite, "Let's take this moment to finally welcome back the duke and Duchness! They're somewhere in the crowd." The emperor yelled out making everyone look around, it's been years since they seen the couple. "Duke Noah and Duchness Alana you may come up on the throne area." The empress said loudly. Alana got up and put Mikey down gently, "I'll be back." She said making her way to the stairs up to the throne room.

She stood beside Duke Noah as he lent her a hand and helped her up the stairs to the emperor and Empress. "Thank you for this most welcoming party you have hosted to welcome us back." Noah said as Alana and him Bow/curtsy. "The empire is more beautiful than I remember, you both are the soul of the Empire. Ever so, the light that shines in it." Alana said in a sweet tone. (Yes y'all Grandpa Sano did rule before they(Noah and Alana) left🙄)

"Thank you Duchness Alana, my friend and loyal supporter." The empress said to her as Alana smiled back at her. "You may go back and enjoy the party that was intended for you. Duke Noah walked with Alana back down the steps, "I'll see you in a bit, honey." He said to her as she nodded. "I'll be with Prince Mikey." She said to Noah and he hummed in reply before walking off.

"Im back." She said as she sat down beside M/n and D/n, "It's been so long Duchiness Alana. Your boys are so handsome." Mom said to Alana. "Thank you." Alana said watching Himari talk with her sons. "Let's have Lady Himari marry Lord Blake when she's older?" Alana said more like a question, mom stayed quite and nodded, mom to thinks Himari and Blake would make a good couple and hold a powerful statues together. "Yes, good idea." Mom said to her with a smile.
