I didn't expect the assassination attempt though. I mean, it's not like I've ever done anything to catch the attention of anybody else. I was supposed to be the usual nobody.
At least they had bad aim, once I heard the gunshot I took flight. I didn't escape unscathed though, I was definitely missing a feather or two. For the past month now, I've been receiving threats and warnings to stop what I was doing. For the past month, I've been ignoring all these messages. It's not like I would have dropped my project just because somebody else told me to. I didn't know who I could trust anymore at this point. It wasn't like anybody knew in the first place, but now I had to double down on my security.
Gliding down, I landed on the roof of my apartment complex. I unlocked and entered the roof door, then headed towards my apartment. As soon as I unlocked the door I was met with the barrel of a gun and the immediate feeling of extreme fear.
OK SO I WROTE AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT CONCEPT THAT I PERSONALLY LIKE BETTER. IT'S ALMOST LIKE A 180 BUT I FIND IT EASIER TO WRITE. WHICH ONE DO YOU WANT???
