Everyone has this countdown on their wrist indicating their time left on Earth and mine unfortunately is on Minghao's birthday. I've been devasted by the picture of seeing his smile turning into a frown. I have no absolute idea what to do. I've thought of breaking up with him so he won't see me dying but I don't want to see his tears etched on his face when I reveal the news thus I decided just to leave it to the flow.
At least, I'll spend my day with him before dying.
"I'll die around 9:30 PM on November 7." I sighed as I stared at the mark on my wrist. Only the person themselves can see their countdown and I'm glad Minghao can't see it. I hate this system.
"Hey, princess." I felt his arms snaking around my waist and he left a peck on the mole under my left eye. I smiled at that, he believed that he was the one who kissed that spot the most in our previous lives.
"I'm going to model my work this Saturday's fashion week." He mumbled into my neck and I turned around happily. "Really? I'll be there to support you." I said making him close the distance between us.
I love him, he's my other half.
"Also, I'm going blonde." He told me when I left a gap between us. "WHAT REALLY!?" I excitedly asked him and he let out a fairy giggle. I loved listening to his giggles as they resonated in my ears, creating a spectrum of joy invading my heart.
"I'll do it right before the show." He informed me as I couldn't keep my excitement. "You better not chop your hair!" I playfully pointed my finger at him and he let out another giggle.
"I won't, I won't." He lifted his hands in surrender. "I'll keep this mullet that you love, okay?" He pulled me into a hug. "Now, I'll head to work now, princess." He whispered into my hair leaving a kiss before leaving me.
I sat down on the bed writing a letter for him to read after I die.
I sighed, "Everything doesn't go my way, does it." Tears welled up in my eyes. I can already imagine Minghao's face. Even when I had an accident 2 years ago, I could hear his painful voice when I was in a coma, the way his voice vibrated with extreme pain and how his voice cracked every time he tried waking me up but failed.
His best friend Jun told me how dull Minghao looked for those few weeks that he was asked to not model for a while to take a break.
I hate this feeling. I don't want to leave but I have to. I could only helplessly cry to myself as the tear drops fell on the piece of paper. "I love him please, I don't want to leave." My voice cracked as I kept wiping the tears that fell.

"Hao-ah!" Jun called out to me. I turned to him with a smile, "Yeah?" I waved at him. "How's the preparation for this Saturday's runway?" He asked me.
"It's going great, I can't wait to show Haru my works." I excitedly told him and he smiled wider. "Of course, she's gonna like it. You lovebirds are gonna give me a sweet tooth with how sweet y'all acting to each other." I giggled at him and he gave me a pat on my shoulder. "Take care of her well man." I nodded my head.
After he left, I checked the mark I had on my hand, I'm dying in 2 years. I want to stay longer to see our children grow up but it's fine, I'm sure my Haru will take care of them well.

"Haruuu~" Seungkwan whined as I was sketching my work.
"What is it, Kwan?" I asked without looking at him. "I'm busy, don't disturb me, Kwan," I told him and in a swift moment, he started tickling me. "K-Kwan...Please stop AHAHAHAHUBCHRBVYR!" I started laughing and dropped the paper on the ground. "You need to rest, Haru." He stopped tickling me and playfully pointed at me.
"It's Haru noona for you." I pointed at him and he rolled his eyes. "You're only a year older, Haru..." I glared at him and he added, "...Noona." Making me stifle a burst of laughter.
"When are you going to tell Myungho hyung about your countdown?" He suddenly asked making me look at him.
"Kwan, don't start," I warned him with a sigh.
Platonic soulmates can see each other's countdown and I only found that out when Seungkwan started tearing up after seeing the countdown when I showed him my new bracelet. I made him promise to not tell Minghao.
"It's gonna hurt hyung a lot." He reminded me as if I didn't know.
Before I could reply, my phone started ringing and I picked up my phone to see the caller. I answered the call, "Hao!" I smiled brightly as I watched his face appear on the screen. "Hey, princess. I missed you so I called." He returned the same smile.
"HYUNG!" Seungkwan grabbed my phone. "Seungkwan? What are you doing there?" Minghao asked. "I was bored so I came to visit noona...WAIT ARE YOU JEALOUS??" Seungkwan gasped making me giggle.
"So what if I was?" Minghao asked but before Seungkwan could reply, I grabbed my phone back and ran into my room locking the door.
"I locked the door." I smiled at him making him giggle. "What were you doing, princess? You seem stressed." He asked making me sigh. "Just work, the deadline for the house design is tomorrow and I'm only halfway done," I explained. "Don't stress out too much, princess. Take a break and you can continue with it." I nodded.
"I miss you, I'll be back home in 2 hours so bye!" He blew a kiss making me smile and forget the stress I was feeling before. "I love you, princess." He smiled.
"Love you too, Hao!~" I replied and he ended the call.
