I stirred from my sleep when I felt something poke my cheeks.

I opened my eyes slowly seeing a smiling Haru poking my cheeks with her fingers. "Happy birthday, Hao." She greeted me with a kiss on my cheeks and I got up from the bed.

"Good morning, princess." I smiled and pecked her lips.

"Now, get ready quickly, we have lots to do today!" She got up excitedly making me giggle.

"Okok, I'll be done in 20." I smiled and entered the bathroom to get ready.

"So where to, princess?" Minghao asked me with an excited voice. "It's a surprise, Xu Minghao!" I glared at him jokingly. "Okay, fine. You realize I'll love anything you gift me right?" He reminded me as if I didn't know. I smiled in response and it slowly faded into a frown when I realized about my countdown.

'Don't think about that, Haru! Focus on making Hao smile before...AHHH STOP!!'

"Firstly, blueberry pancakes! You love it whenever I make them." I smiled when I saw his eyes shine with excitement. "I do, princess." He gave me a giggle that lit up his gorgeous face.

"Now, what, princess?" He asked me.

We had the most fun today, we did everything that Minghao loved doing and every time I see him smile my heart expands against my chest making it difficult to breathe. It will be the last thing I see probably and it will make my soul crushed with the intense pain that will rupture my last breath even as my soul watches his tears, I will just wish to die again instead of facing that unbearing torment.

"Princess?" Hao waves his hand making me focus on reality. "What's wrong, princess?" He asked with concern as he wiped a tear.

"I'm fine, sorry. A speckle of dust must have gone into my eyes." I laughed it off making his worry creases molt into its normal shape again. "Stupid dust making my Haru cry." He cussed at the air erupting laughter from my throat.

"Thank you so much for today, princess." He left a peck on my forehead. "I love you so much." He holds my cheeks in his hands. "I love you more than you know." He closed our distance as his lips cushioned me.

My heart ached so hard when he confessed his undying love for me. I felt the same for him but I'm afraid if he keeps it going, I'll probably tell him about my countdown.

"I love you a lot too, Hao," I confessed making him smile against my lips.

"I'll see you tomorrow then, princess." He left a distance between us. He was so close to me that I could just squish him so hard because I didn't want to let go. I know it's hard to let go but I have to.

"Yeah, take care, Hao." I smiled a bitter smile. This was the last time I'd see him. I didn't want to see him before I died because his expressions would break me. I couldn't say "See you tomorrow' knowing we wouldn't.

"Call me if you need anything, okay?" He smiled and I couldn't hold it anymore.

I closed the distance hugging him tightly. "Oh, what's this for, princess?" He giggled with surprise. "Nothing," I said holding back my tears.

"Hey, Kwan." I let out a small smile when he opened his door.

I wanted to say goodbye to my soulmate. My soulmate that had always been with me, I adored him a lot. His tear-stricken face was enough for me to know what he did before opening the door.

"Haru," He crushed me into a hug as he sobbed. His voice cracked every time he tried saying something breaking my heart. I really didn't want to let go. Please.

"I-I love you, Haru noona." He lifted his head from my shoulders to look at me with puffy red eyes. "I love you too, Kwannie." I used his favourite nickname making him wail louder than before. "Please, Kwan," I begged as I was close to breaking down. "Please stop crying, I cannot take this." I pleaded as my tears begged to fall.

"Wasn't this on the day you auditioned at Pledis?" I laughed at the photo. We were going through the pictures we've taken so far since we met. "Don't laugh, noona." He playfully pouted and I pinched his cheeks. "Aww, you're so adorable." I cooed as he playfully glared at me.

I look towards the clock on the wall. 9.05 PM. 25 minutes before my death. I always stalled it in my mind thinking it was far but now it's like a joke mirroring me. How the tables have turned. And oh how I hate it.

"Kwan, I'll leave now," I told him as he scrolled to more of our unending pictures.

"N-Noona..." His voice cracked as tears were threatening to fall from his eyes. "Just know that you're the best, okay? You mean a lot to me and I love you, Kwannie. I wrote you a letter at my apartment, make sure to read it, okay?" I smiled as betrayer tears fell from my eyes.

"Haru, please don't leave me." He hugged me tightly when I stood to leave. Kwannie you're making this harder for me. I don't want to leave too.

"Goodbye, Kwannie. I love you, okay?" I left a peck on his head and left his home. I could hear him calling out my name. I cried walking home. This hurts a lot. It hurts too much. Why? Please let me live.
