Chapter 4: Chased.

(A week later...)
Everything was normal, I got used to the bots and the fact that I need to be with either Jack, Raf or Miko at all times for the sake of safety. Unlike the others, I do not have a guardian and I would like to keep it that way. Why you might ask? Well so there are Optimus Prime, Arcee, Bumblebee, Ratchet, and Bulkhead in the autobots and none of them suits me. Bumblebee is with Raf, the brown haired twelve year old boy who wears glasses. Arcee with Jack, the raven haired sixteen years old while Bulkhead is with Miko, the crazy one. And Optimus and Ratchet are just no-no's.

Everyday is just like: I wake up, brush my teeth, take a bath, grab my school bag, get my toasted bread while also running to where Jack and I usually meet up, arrive at school, go to class, go to the cafeteria and sit down with Jack, Raf and Miko(Which I would call as the game try to stop Miko from exposing the bots), go back to class, listen to my math teacher's lecture, go out of school, wait for Jack to get Miko out of detention or just wait, go to base, do my homework with Raf, spend a day of boredom, try to stop Miko from going through the groundbridge, try not to fight with Agent Fowler, go home and repeat.

Today was like every one of those days until I spot a shiny cherry red sportscar in the parking lot of the school. In Jasper, it is rare to find an expensive car and most people would just take a bunch of pictures with it but I know for a fact that it is Knockout. You cannot convince me otherwise.

I whisper to Jack, "Jack, we've got company at eleven o'clock...." Jack immediately looks at the left and see the cherry red sportscar. Raf who was also there looks at that direction too and gasps. "Jack, get Miko out of detention now!" I exclaim. "I already did it four times. If I do it again, the teacher will get suspicious of us." The raven haired boy argues. "Alright" I say as I begin sprinting to the detention room while Jack and Raf watches the sportscar intensely, Arcee, Bumblebee and Bulkhead aren't getting their eyes of Knockout either.

After a long run, I finally arrive in at the front of the detention room. I knock on it gently and receive a response from the teacher. I took it as permission to enter so I open the door. "Excuse me Miss, can you please let Miko go from detention today?" I request as politely as I could. "Why is that May?" the teacher asks back which I would prefer if she didn't. "Well there is currently family business that she needs to attend which is a family gathering and her guardian has come to pick her up." I lie. I know Miko's parents are all the way at Japan so guardian should work. "Fine, but she isn't going to skip detention next time."
Miko leaves her seat and goes out of the room. "Thank you Miss" I thank before closing the doors and sighing in relief. Miko looks at me with the face that clearly says, 'What happened?'. "To cut it as short as possible. Knockout is outside and we gotta get out of here." I state. "What are you waiting for!? Let's go!" Miko exclaims as we both get out of the school. "Sorry to keep you waiting." I apologize. It's a bit late now so there aren't any students left other than the ones in detention. "May with me. Others, like usual" Arcee commands. Jack and I hop on while the others get on their corresponding guardians.

We drive our way through the streets, had a little problem with the traffic and red lights, have a huge problem with Knockout on our tail. "Bee, Bulk, split out." Arcee commands through the comms like a born leader. Arcee drives through the left, Bulk through the right and Bee through the middle. Luckily, Knockout didn't chase after Bee, Raf, Jack, Arcee and I. Unfortunately, he chases Bulkhead and Miko. Bad news number two, vehicons. "Vehicons are now my least favourite." I state. "You haven't even seen her." Arcee states with hostility, one I would never expect. "Her?" Anddd Arcee ignores me. Jack was just as confused as I am to be honest.

We drive our way through the town and head towards the alleyways where of course fighting won't matter. Arcee transforms to her bi-pedal form and stands protectively in front of Jack and I. The vehicons too stop their tracks and transform. The blue autobot quickly raised her blasters, ready to strike. "Cons..." Arcee snarls, never seen this side of her to be honest. The vehicons were huge compared to Arcee, Jack and I but that doesn't make Arcee intimidated one bit. "You two, go meet up with Raf and Miko!" The blue femme autobot orders which Jack and I reluctantly follow.

Jack grabs my hand and runs through the alleyways, looking for Raf and the Japanese girl. "Dead end" Jack states as he goes through another alleyway. "Jack! May!" Jack and I hear a girl yell, sounds like Miko. "Miko!" Jack exclaims as we run towards the sound. Miko was there, exhausted that she was leaning to the wall. "There's no time for this. We still haven't found Raf!" I state, worried. "That way!" Miko points to the left. I give a questioning look, "How did you-" "Bulkhead told me." Miko states and here we find ourselves in a situation where we have to escape death and find our friend.

"Raf!" I yell, looking for him and receiving a response from Raf yelling, "Guys!" We all immediately run to that direction, only to see Vince in the middle of bullying Raf. Bad timing. "Vince, go away!" Miko yells. I could see Jack glaring at Vince intensely, seems like none of us are in the best of terms with that ginger haired bully. "Ah if it isn't Darby and his friends." Vince teases. Goodness, the amount of my mind that wants to kick that guy in the face is horrendous. "This is no joke, Vince. Leave.. NOW" I yell, irritated. "Never knew Mrs goodie two shoes can yell" Vince snarls. "Never knew someone could be so much of a piece of trash" I state. "We outnumber you Vince, go before things get messy" Jack threatens. "I would run now if I were you." Miko exclaims.

Both Jack and I clench our fists, wanting to punch the bully and put him in his place. Without warning I kick his legs, causing him to crash to the ground, Jack quickly understands the signal and drags Vince to a trash bin and locks it. "Seriously?" Raf adds. "He asked for it" I answer. "Now where do we go?" I ask. "My work place is nearby, we could hide there for the meantime." Jack states. "Good idea, Jack!" Miko exclaims. We then find ourselves running to K.O Burgers.

As we arrive, a brunette boy who looks to be in his 16's immediately approaches Jack. "It's your shift" He states. Jack looks at us in an awkward expression alongside awkward silence. "Well, good luck" I add as Jack has to get to work. "You guys wanna eat something?" I ask. "Sure" Miko states happily. We all go to the counter to buy some food. "French fries, fried chicken and ice cream please" I order. The employee nods and informs the other employees. It costs $38 so R.I.P my pockets since I'm not rich. "Thank you." I thank as I grab the food. I walk to the table Raf and Miko are at and give them their food. Miko eats the fried chicken, Raf eats the french fries while I try to enjoy my ice cream. "So May, Raf, who's your favourite Autobot?" Miko asks as quietly as she can. "Bumblebee of course" Raf replies. "Probably Arcee" I answer. "Decepticon?" "None" Raf replies. "Soundwave. He's the least annoying and his relationship with Laserbeak is wholesome" I answer. "I'm going to the washroom" I state, finishing my ice cream and walking to the washroom with their nods of approval.

As I lock the washroom door, I can't help but worry about the bots, I'm concerned that Miko and Raf are as if they are used to this already. As I finally exit the washroom a few moments later, Miko and Raf were there waiting for me. "We should go back home now." Raf suggests. "After we make sure the bots are safe" I state as I pull out my phone and calls Arcee. The Japanese girl frowns at my worries. "Arcee, is everything A Okay?" I ask. "We are already in the base, I would suggest you to go back home. It's getting late." Arcee suggests. "Alright." I hang up. I walk to Jack who is working in the drive thru and inform him about it. He's going to stay for work though. After that, I walk Miko and Raf to each of their homes because I'm worried if the worse happens to them. After all of that, I walk back home and open the door, greeted by my parents, they ask me what happened to me, why I have scratches all over my hands and why have I been gone all day. I just made up some lies and feel free to go back to my room. I drop my backpack on the floor and lay down on my bed, exhausted, not realizing a shadow looming over my house in the sky...
