Don't Want To Be Involved//Transformers Prime//Hiatus

Chapter 6: Convoy.

(A/N: I'm back y'all! :). The mid semestral test is over :). I can actually continue writing now so please expect some updates)

(Third Person Point Of View)
"Prime!" Agent Fowler yells across the room, causing May to stumble backwards and fall in surprise. Raf immediately covers her from agent Fowler's view, enough to let her hide behind a wall since if Fowler finds out another civillain is involved, things will get chaotic.

"What brings you here, Agent Fowler? I suppose it's not a good thing." Optimus Prime asks. "I'm not tyoe of person to ask for help but we need you," A finger was pointed at Optimus Prime. "And your team to help transport a nuclear device to a military base!" Agent Fowler states harshly. "We will give you assistance." The autobot leader states. "Good"

"Optimus, I'm afraid that transporting a nuclear device through the ground bridge is far too risky. We don't know what will happen." Ratchet explains. "I understand, Ratchet." Optimus Prime answers as he nods. Optimus Prime turns to the team and commands, "Autobots, except Ratchet, roll out!" With that, the autobots ,except Ratchet ,transform and zoom out of the base through the road but not before Agent Fowler went into Optimus' driver seat.

As they leave, everyone else left exhales in relief. "You have no idea how holding your breath for that long feels...!" May exclaims. "We must be prepared though. Who knows Optimus might need some backup." Ratchet suggests. "I mean you can do that." Miko states. "So who's up for a game of UNO?" May asks. "Not me nor Raf, we're going to compete with each other again!" Miko shouts as she alongside Raf climbs the yellow ladder to the human area.

"So... Wanna play UNO?" "No, thank you" that was indeed the most brief conversation she ever had this whole year. Jack walks away, climbing the ladder and standing behind the couch to watch Miko and Raf compete. On the edge of boredom, she decides to play chess with herself.

She barely plays chess but she knows the rules well enough to play it without guidance nor someone else. She remembers when her cousin and her used to play it together. Of course, as a noob, her cousin bet her multiple times. Though she's still thinking about where her cousin went since he went missing like three months ago. And yes, they don't get along well at all but they do like to compete with each other like that.

Well she can't really do much, heck even the police can't find him. After a while, she finishes setting up the board, she pretends to play with someone and playing by herself is indeed challenging to not be biased but she can manage.

After what seems like 15 minutes, Ratchet obtains a comm link from Optimus Prime. "Ratchet, we need some backup. The nuclear device is in a moving train. There are some humans that are aiming for it. I'd suggest you get the government for backup." Optimus Prime explains. "Puh-lease it's just a few humans, nothing out of the ordinary" Ratchet retaliates. The comm link got cut off mid-way, leaving Ratchet annoyed. "Optimus? Optimus..!?" He groans in frustration, how come some simple mission can get so wrong.

"We can help." Miko offers. "Are you out of your mind!?" Ratchet yells. "i can actually hack them to slow them down," Raf states. "Groundbridging is already dangerous and now, to a moving train!?" Ratchet complains. "But what if we can predict where the train will be?" Raf asks as he types in some stuff on his laptop and shares it to the screen of the base.

"It doesn't hurt to try." Ratchet states, giving up, knowing that he won't be able to convince them otherwise. And the thought of if they die and won't annoy him anymore isn't that bad. I mean he won't do that but that's worst case scenario and it's not that bad.

"Can I try to help too?" May asks out of the blue. "Sorry May but it's a Miko, Raf and Jack mission!" Miko exclaims, not even bothering about the girl's saddened face. "Plus I didn't want Miko to be involved in the first place but she won't give up. Sorry May" Jack explains. "I understand" May states as she walks away. The others notice her saddened tone but don't dare to say anything else.

"Alright, be careful." Ratchet reminds. And with that, Jack and Miko walk through the groundbridge. A few seconds afterwards, someone manages to stop Raf's hacking and burn his laptop. "Oh c'mon!" Raf shouts in frustration. That laptop certainly cost him a lot and he won't know what to say to his parents about what happened to it.

"Raf, you okay? You didn't get hurt right?" For once in the whole universe, this is actually the first time May speaks as quickly as Miko. I feel like there should be an award for that. Raf looks up from his now broken laptop and answers, "I'm fine, my laptop's just a bit burnt" "That's definitely not okay Raf. Just be more careful next time"

After what seems like eternity, Jack and Miko alongside the bots and without agent Fowler are finally back to base. "Mind giving us the details?" May asks. "You won't believe what happened! Jack and I heard a sound from above and it was someone cutting the roof of the train. I grabbed an axe and Jack took a fire extinguisher! We battle those two and bam! We secured the nuclear device but the train went haywire! We nearly crashed but Optimus stopped the train! Isn't that epic!?" Miko explains in a hilariously incomperhendable speed.

May blinks a few times, processing the information that Miko gave her but she then turns to Raf. "Raf, remind me to never ever follow them to any mission no matter what," and that was answered with a slight nod and chuckle from the boy.
