I rushed downstairs, sliding down the bannister, a smile on my face.
"Mum Peppers had kittens!" I shouted. I skidded to a stop as I reached the kitchen.
My mum was lying motionless on the ground blood everywhere.
I span around to face a man with a knife in his hand.
"Hello sweetie, I'm Slasher, and what's your name?" He hissed.
I screamed and ran to the front door, turning the key and running out tears running down my face.
I had been on the run for three years until Saya found me and took me to Master Lin. People thought I had killed my mum.
