Me and Marcus were getting closer day by day. Billy was throwing a party for all the rats, so Saya wasn't invited.

Katie, Petra, and I went to the destination and started dancing. After the party me and Marcus went outside.

"That was epic!" He shouted, punching the air. I agreed. He stopped and turned to me.

"Thanks." He said. "For what?" I asked, confused. "For everything." He said and looked down into my eyes.

He stepped closer. "Not here." I mumbled, blushing. He tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear. "I can't. I've never kissed anyone before." I said.

A smile tugged at the corner of his mouth. "Y/n Grey has a weakness." He teased.

I chuckled and pulled him closer, my head nearing his ear.

"I'm afraid of love." I whispered, I pulled back and turned away.

"Hey y/n wait!" He shouted after me. I ran back to my dorm and shut the door behind me.

"Hey, what's up?" Katie asked from her bed. I lifted my head up.

"I told Lopez." I said. "Told him what?" Katie said, coming over.

"My fear." I muttered. All of this was bringing back many painful memories.

My mums lifeless face staring back up at me flashed through my mind. Katie sat next to me.

"Maybe it's time you told me." She said calmly.

I woke up a slight pounding in my head. I turned over and shut my eyes. A huge bang echoed outside in the corridor.

I sat up and slipped on my slippers. I followed Katie out of the dorm. A bomb had been placed a couple doors down.

Master Lin was walking out of the door with a dead body. Katie gasped.

"That's Brandy!" She said. Brandy was a legacy. She had no good in her just spitefulness and jealousy.

She tried to get me a C in martial arts and herself an A. That didn't go down too well.

Let's just say Brandy didn't dare mess with my grades again. The funeral was at six, but I didn't go.

Instead, I stayed in my room. A voice boomed on the speakers.

"These students are to go willingly with the monks. No fighting back. They won't hesitate to kill you." Master Lin said.

As he finished a monk, he burst into my room. I just stood up and walked out. There were other monks with Marcus, Saya, Petra, Willie, Billy, Viktor, Jayden, Chico, and Katie.

I smiled over to Katie and waved. As I lifted my hand, the monk behind me lifted his cane and stabbed it into the back of my hand.

I yelled and whipped around my fist clenched. "Y/N, stop, it's not worth it!" Saya shouted.

I bit my lip and turned back around, anger glistening in my eyes. Katie shrugged as the monk behind her poked her in the back, signalling for us to walk to the library.

They pushed us in, and we walked in, sitting down on the chairs with desks.

I sat at the back and glared at anyone who tried to sit near me.

"So what's this?" Marcus asked.

"Torture to me." Replied Jayden.

"Also known as detention." Added in Petra. Blood was dripping down my hand as Master Lin walked in.

"You are all in here for three days as a punishment to whoever killed the girl." As he was saying that, he gave me a look, turned around, and walked out, slamming the door behind him.

Willie turned around and glared at me. "Thanks alot Grey now we are all in here for something we didn't do!" He snarled.

I stood up the chair scraping the floor. Giving him a death stare, I walked over to the aisles to think things over.

Now, everyone thought I had killed Brandy. Katie came over. She looked at me.

"Did you y/n?" She asked quietly. I shook my head. She smiled and gestured to Saya and Petra to come over.

They nodded. "Don't worry y/n we believe you didn't do it." Saya said. I smiled and looked away.

They all sat next to me and tried to figure out who did it.

"They have to be in this room because Master Lin suspects one of us." Saya said. Katie and Petra agreed.

We went back to where everyone was sitting and took our seats. This time, Saya and Katie sat opposite sides of me.

After a while, I got bored, so I wandered over to Marcus. I sat myself on top of his desk he looked up and then went back to doodling in his book.

After a couple of hours, Petra stood up and banged her fist onto the table. Everyone looked up.

"This is ridiculous, I say we break into the Vault of Vahala. There is food in there!" She rambled.

"Who's with me?" She said, looking around. "I'm in." I nodded to her.

I slid off the table and walked over to the locked door. Saya kicked the door in frustration.

"That's not going to work." Jayden said.

"Yep, we kind of figured that out, thanks!" Saya growled.

"What's the point if we can't even get out!" Chico yelled.

Marcus strolled over and took a clip out of Petras hair. She turned around, glaring.

I put a hand on her shoulder and watched Marcus as he bent down next to the door. He pulled open the door and smiled as he leant his cheek against the door handle.

Petra folded her arms and pressed her lips together. I nodded to the rest to come over.

I walked out and looked for any monks that could be hanging around.

None.

I gestured to the others to follow. I quickly ran around the corner Petra leading. When we all got to the Vault, Marcus picked the lock, and we all went in.
