Merry Christmas Martha
I don't know if you already found the time to
look when you're free for the play date
But I just wanted to let you know I have a few days off next week•••

"Oi why's Dias dm'ing you?" Martha has been staring at Rúben's text so intently, just like she's been doing for the past few days, that she didn't hear her sister creeping up behind her. "He isn't flirting with you too, is he? He has a girlfriend for god's sake,"
"No he's just asking to set up a play date for our dogs," the older sister answers.
"You sure it's just that? I know you find him attractive and I've seen you two talk?" Anna gives Martha an intense look, making the older look down. "Maybe I shouldn't take you to Arsenal's party, who knows who else you'll wrap around your finger," Anna then grins. "Like first Dele, then Grealish and now Dias. When did you become such a man magnet?"
This comment makes Martha look up at her sister again. "Oi there's nothing going on with either of them. Dele's my friend, Jack's too much of a flirt and Rúben has a girlfriend, like you said before,"
"Just don't get hurt Mar," Anna says worried.
"I won't, because nothing's going to happen," Martha says and she decides then and there to not answer Rúben's message. Not that she doesn't trust herself, but every time she meets the Portuguese man, she finds some new attraction towards him. So she makes this decision to protect herself.
"And just to make sure, I'm giving you my most ugly dress for New Year's Eve," the younger sister winks.
They switch to another topic and Martha's glad her sister doesn't dig any deeper. Fifteen minutes later they hear the front door getting opened, indicating that Martin's home from training. But both girls are surprised when they hear tiny footsteps rushing through the hallway.
"Anna!" a child's voice shrieks when she enters the living room.
"Elly," the younger Olsen sibling jumps of the couch when she sees the little child, to take her in her arms. "What are you doing here?"
In the meantime Martin also walks inside te living room, carrying a bag full of toys and baby stuff. "Mari called me, their babysitter fell ill and we were the only option left," he explains before greeting his girlfriend with a kiss.
Martha watches the scene in front of her with a big smile. She has already heard all about Eleanor from Anna and Martha and she has a slight feeling they'll soon have one of their own running around.
Anna sits back down next to her sister, Eleanor still in her arms. "Elly, say hello to Martha," Anna says.
"Mata," the little child tries to pronounce Martha's name, making a soft smile appear on the older's lips. Then the little girl loses her focuses and climbs off Anna's lap to walk to her toys, which Martin had put on the ground, and starts playing with them. Martin sits down next to her and starts playing along.
Martha notices the look Anna's giving her boyfriend and grins. "So when am I going to be an auntie?" At this comment Anna blushes and looks down at her hands. The older sister's eyes widen. "No! How long have you known?" she half whispers, half yells, not being sure Martin knows yet.
The younger sister motions her to be quiet. "I've only known about a week, Martin doesn't even know yet," Anna explains. "I was planning to tell him on New Year,"
"I'm so happy for you. You're going to be great parents," Martha smiles while throwing an arm around Anna's shoulder and pulling her closer.
