YEONJUN'S POV

We both sat in silence for a hot minute, waiting for the other to cave in but it is not going to be me. I don't want to take it anymore. I want her and that's it. It is undeniably selfish of me, and I regret doing it the way I did. I regret not telling Jungwon first. But I need her on my side when we do that. He has to know that we're not just messing around. I have it bad for her and I'm serious about it.

"Yeonjun," she chuckled dryly. "You make me do things that I regret."

"So do you, but you don't see me going crazy on you," I shrugged

"I hate you," she mumbled, throwing her fists onto my chest lightly.

"No, you don't."

"No, really," she scoffed. "I do. You are ruining everything between me and Jungwon. Everything we have."

"You don't have anything with him, Dami. I bet your stomach doesn't flip or flutter when you see him. I bet your heart doesn't beat twice as fast. I bet you don't want to kiss him every time he's around you. Do you?"

"Fuck you," she replied.

"The offer is on the table," I retorted. She hit me a couple more times and I let go of her wrists, letting her for a couple of minutes. It wasn't hurting me. She started reaching the unlock button and I grabbed her hand again. It's just pissing me off now. "Quit it," I said through gritted teeth.

"You quit it!" she snapped, grabbing a fistful of my shirt.

"I can't," I scoffed. "Can't you tell?"

She glared at me, her nostrils flaring ever so slightly.

"I'll scream," she threatened.

"Your father isn't home yet." When her eyes locked into place with mine, I could see her decision wavering.

"Come on, Dami. You know you want to," I chuckled.

"No," she shook her head.

"Yeah, you do," I nodded.

"But I won't."

I leaned forward and like I wanted, she didn't pull back. She turned her head and stared out the window instead so I grabbed her chin, forcing her to look at me. "But you will," I whispered.

"Don't do it, Yeonjun."

"Don't do what?"

"Don't kiss me, please," she whispered.

"Why not?"

"Cause I'll end up kissing you back. And I'll hate myself for doing it while I'm still with Jungwon." I let out a low breath, leaning back in my seat and listening to her.

"What are we gonna tell him?" she asked, her voice softer than before.

"The truth," I shrugged. "All of it."

"When?" she mumbled. "Tomorrow. Call him over to your house. Or we'll go over."

"I can't do it, Yeonjun."

"Don't do it if you don't want me," I said nonchalantly, even though I know I wouldn't be able to handle it if she said that.

"That's the fucking problem," she scoffed. "I do want you."

I sighed, unlocking the car. "Leave. Before I kiss you." She hesitated but climbed off of me and got out, grabbing her bag from the backseat and going into her house. "Shit," I exhaled, starting up the car and deciding to drive around the block for a while instead of going home right away. Thank god Jiryun's mother drove Kai back earlier. I drove around for a long time before pulling into my driveway and going straight up to my room, knocking out. We've got a long day ahead of us tomorrow.
