"Testing new CPU Gloves," Peter stated as he and Robin stood in the laboratory.

It has been quite a while since the mission in Santa Prisca, nearly two weeks. The team was mostly free since then beyond the usual trouble in their respective city of operation, which left the team's scientist with a lot of free time.

Peter spent his time memorising the base's schematics, researching files, and working on his gear. Thankfully, John managed to convince Batman to let Peter keep one of the Hard Light Lenses, but the scientist wanted them to be a bit smaller in size to fit what he has in store, so it'll take some time before they managed to cut a piece of the larger Lenses.

While waiting for the lenses, Peter went to upgrade his CPU Glove with Robin helping. Though, the Boy Wonder was simply providing some of the parts Peter was missing rather than taking part of the actual work. Robin was interested in the CPU Glove and already asked the scientist for his own or at least upgrades to his gauntlet, which the scientist agreed to do later.

Tapping some of the holographic buttons, Peter connected to the base's system and showed footage of the main hall, where Aqualad, Miss Martian, and Kid Flash were. "Alright, everything seems in order," Peter commented.

"Nice," Robin praised before noticing what the three on the footage were doing. "Wait! They're playing air hockey! KF was supposed to wait for my turn dammit!"

The boy wonder then speed walked out of the laboratory. Seeing that he already finished most of his plans for the day, Peter saw no reason not to follow, if just to see the performance of the L.A.P.I.S. as they used it on game-mode.

Reaching the main hall, Peter and Robin saw that Kid Flash and Aqualad were playing against each other, with the former eating a banana as he played. Despite eating as the match was going, Kid Flash seemed to have the advantage thanks to his fast reactions. Eventually, he managed to score the final goal on Aqualad just the Zeta Tube lit up.

"Recognised: Superboy, C-0-4," the system called out as the last member of the team came out of the tube.

"Hi, Superboy," M'gann greeted as the Kryptonian clone walked between them and through the air hockey table, causing it to vanish. "How was Metropolis?"

She was ignored as Superboy simply kept glaring as he walked away. However, he stopped when a new voice cleared their throat. "Ready for training, everyone?"

Looking at the new arrivals, M'gann was quick to identify them. "Black Canary... uncle J'onn!" She cried out, seeing Martian Manhunter.

This was Peter's first time seeing Martian Manhunter in person. He saw him on news reports and recordings, but a closer view made the difference between him and M'gann apparent. Martian Manhunter looked less human than M'gann, having sunken cheeks and a somewhat oval-shaped head. His eyes were completely red and his uniform, while similar to M'gann's, was mostly black and red.

Quickly, M'gann went and gave her uncle a hug, who smiled warmly at his niece. "M'gann, I was in the neighbourhood, and thought I'd check in on how you're adjusting."

"A few bumps," M'gann admitted before smiling. "But I'm adjusting."

"That's all I ask," Martian Manhunter stated, placing a supportive hand on her shoulder.

Black Canary saw Superboy turn around to leave and called him out. "Stick around! Class is in session," she called out as she walked to the centre of the main hall. The floor under her lit up before the light spread across the rest of the floor panels. "I consider it an honour to be your teacher. I'll throw a lot at you. Everything I learned from my own mentors - Urgh," Black Canary flinched while taking off her jacket and held her bandaged bicep. "And my own bruises."
