Kevin McHale & Larry Bird: From Teammates to couples

Chapter Two

~ The next morning ~

Kevin and Larry were both asleep and Kevin goes to his nightstand to play The Beach Boys on his Record player and would head back to sleep before they go downstairs to have breakfast before heading out. Perhaps, they were having the best time of their lives together and decided to go on with their time being. Also, they were listening to the songs such as Daryl and John Oates- I can't go for that and other artists.

Kevin McHale: Larry, have you been listening to Modern Talking?

Larry Bird: yeah why?

Kevin McHale: Well, my dad was listening to this while I went on a car ride.

Larry Bird: that makes sense.

Kevin McHale: you know what? I have plenty of CDs in my dad's bedroom.

Kevin calls his dad.

Kevin McHale: Dad!

Mr. McHale: yes Kevin?

Kevin McHale: Dad, can I borrow some of your Modern Talking Albums?

Mr. McHale: sure!

His father hands the Modern Talking Album to Kevin.

Kevin McHale: thanks dad.

Mr. McHale: you're very welcome son. Where are you guys heading to?

Kevin McHale: to the basketball practice.

Mr. McHale: alright, be careful out there.

Kevin McHale: thanks dad.

Mr. McHale: you're welcome.

~ Larry Bird POV: when Kevin McHale gets dizzy during the practice ~

Before the game starts, everyone in the media was interviewing about Kevin's Debut with the Boston Celtics and everyone in the crowd were there especially his teammates and Larry Bird. "You have a wonderful team and I'm sure you guys will make a great comeback for the Celtics," She said proudly. "Thanks," Kevin responded with a statement.

Lady: so If you want, we can do some pregame interviews.

Kevin McHale: that's fine because I don't feel so good.

Lady: Oh okay, I understand. Just take a rest.

Robert Parish: Kevin, is everything alright?

Kevin McHale: everything is fine, but I don't feel so good. Wait! Hold on!

Robert Parish: Kevin, what's the matter? Are you alright? Do you need some water?

Kevin McHale: no I'm good.

Larry Bird: you okay there Kevin?

Kevin McHale: I'm good Larry. What was I thinking?

Larry Bird: hope we don't get suspended indefinitely since it was only the beginning.

Kevin McHale: I know and I don't want to get pregnant in the middle of the NBA season.

Larry Bird: oh my goodness! What about the fact that you mentioned about winning the NBA championship for the Boston Celtics?

Kevin McHale: I was hoping it will not be affected by the fact that I could be pregnant.

A/N: A reader of mine had suggested he wanted Kevin McHale to be pregnant. Although, how will it affect his career for the Boston Celtics? Will he be suspended indefinitely from the NBA? Comment and tell me what you think.

Okay back to the story.

Robert Parish: what? No way! How can a power forward and a Center be playing when someone's expecting a baby?

Kevin McHale: don't remind me. I didn't want Larry Bird to know

Larry Bird: hey it's alright. Let's go to the clinic and figure out what's wrong okay?

Kevin McHale: okay.

Next, they were at the clinic when the Larry Bird went to the waiting room. Mr. And Mrs. McHale were there and asking what had happened. His mother explained to him that Kevin was starting to feel unwell and he was rushed to the clinic. "So how was Kevin McHale doing?" Larry asks.

Physician: well thankfully nothing bad happened to Kevin McHale. Although, the dizziness is the reason that Kevin's pregnant.

Larry Bird: wait! Really?

Physician: yes sir, Kevin McHale is pregnant.

Larry Bird: Oh my.

(How could a Boston Celtics power forward become pregnant? Larry Bird started to wonder.)

Somehow, Larry knew Kevin being pregnant was the unplanned pregnancy. "You're pregnant right Kevin?" He asked. "Well yeah because I thought we only use the birth control," He explained. "Oh my gosh! How the heck am I going to play when the baby is growing in my womb?" Kevin McHale began to freak out.

"Hey it will be alright. Besides, we're going to be parents," Larry Bird said smiling. "I mean we're going to have a kid you know," Kevin was starting to become worried knowing that the pregnancy will interfere with the NBA career.

Kevin McHale: Oh my God! That was definitely an unplanned pregnancy 😵

Larry Bird: I know, it happened so quickly.

Kevin McHale: Our head coach is going to get us in trouble 😵

Larry Bird: It's alright, we won't tell the head coach about it.

Kevin McHale's POV:

Oh my! What will my parents think that I'm pregnant? The first thing I mentioned was to aim for the NBA Championship. Larry Bird was shocked too that this happened. Although, I was hoping that my pregnancy will not affect my NBA career.
