It was the first real day of school for the 3 of them.
Y/n was so excited for her film and performing arts class. There was no way the class wouldn't be fun.
Y/n's number one goal was to make some friends. Being a loner at a new high school was not the way to go. So far she's at least made a few friends. Mojo Jojo, Perry the platypus, Elsa, and a couple others. It's been a successful first day. Almost so good that yesterday could've been a bad dream.
The class that she was anticipating the most finally arrived. She ran into the classroom to find a seat for herself only to be told you were assigned a group.
You can probably guess where this is going.
She was more at ease since it made it easier to make friends. And to her surprise, she was paired with Prayag and Gojo. She became statue-like, an ancient one that was crumbling every second. There was just no way. What were the chances. "This can't be real." She muttered to herself. The teacher assured her that was her group. "You three were the only missing students yesterday so you all ended up in the same group."
She took her seat, dreading the rest of the class. But, thinking of Prayag being in the group let a small smile creep on her face.
"Oh come on...!" Y/n looked up and was met with a glare from Gojo. Prayag walked over to see the two of you. "Please tell me this group is temporary." Prayag's face said it all. This group was not it. The final bell rang and the two boys sat down. One thought went through all of their minds.
So. Awkward.
Even though there was no reason to talk while the teacher blabbed, the silence was too much. Y/n couldn't even focus. She could feel the malice and direct hatred from Gojo, it confused her. "Shouldn't I be the one upset?" She asked herself. "Why does he hate me? Wasn't he just trying to hit yesterday? I should be the one angry." The more she thought about it, the more irritated she got. Starting to dislike Gojo even more.
Prayag had it the worst. He was gonna at least attempt to get along but with the energy here it was pointless. "Am I able to switch my class? There's no way I can stay in this group. Maybe the group is temporary." Prayag prayed in his head that this would only last so long. But out of all Gojo was by far the most irritated. He didn't even say anything, but there was like an evil ooze off of his body.
"Why did y/n have to be here? As if yesterday wasn't enough. How can someone be a homewrecker without even trying? Embarrassing." It was quite obvious Gojo was not fond of y/n. But everyone was on the same page that this group would be ruthless.

"Since some of you were absent yesterday we will take this day as well to get to know your group. You'll be working together for the trimester, so warm up to each other." After that sentence, the silence was even louder....
"well...we should at least say something to each other." Y/n spoke hesitantly.
"Yeah, no. If it involves you I'll pass." Gojos voice was filled with hostility."Well damn, nevermind." Y/n's efforts were pointless. "Gojo, come on, we'll have to work together anyway." Prayag said with a hint of annoyance. Gojo rolled his eyes in response. But his heart fluttered when Prayag said his name for the first time. Y/n continued to analyze the both of them.
"So dramatic, no wonder you're in this class." Her words directed at Gojo specifically. "Well, I don't know why you're in here, you don't have much going for you. I don't want my grade taken down because of someone so 'bland'." Gojo crossed his arms while staring at y/n to provoke her. Y/n was not gonna take that. "Oh really? It's better than being so-"
"Guys." Prayag intervened before the situation was uncontrollable. Y/n stopped talking and leaned back in her chair. Still exchanging glares with Gojo.
"Okay, listen up." The teacher, Mrs. Vu, tried to gather the class's attention. "I'll be passing out different mini scripts that I want your group to practice with. You'll only be presenting it to me at the end of the week, so don't worry. This is to test you're capability on portraying emotions."
This group performing a mini act together? Prayers are needed.
As Mrs. Vu passed out their story, Prayag quickly picked it up to see the summary.
"Heartbroken from their lover in the middle of a restaurant, a lovely waiter just off of work, offers their comfort. A connection of love at first sight."
Roles: waiter, the heartbroken, the heartbreaker.
He put the paper back down instantly, for the others to look at. As y/n and Gojo read the prompt, y/n spoke, "I think it would make the most sense for Prayag to be the waiter and Gojo be the heartbreaker."
"No way, Prayag's the waiter and you're the heartbreaker." Gojo stated as if it were obvious.
"Well, you're rude and sassy, so I think it's fitting." Y/n was not backing down from this one. "Well, you just want a romance scene with Prayag. I'd rather you take this seriously." Gojo was one to talk, that was the only reason he wanted to be 'the heartbroken'. "That is not true!" They both continued to bicker."I'll be the heartbreaker, Gojo the waiter, and then y/n the heartbroken. I already wrote it on the paper. With pen." As he finished his sentence he turned in the paper to Mrs. Vu and was given the script. "Everyone should take a picture of the script so they can practice at home." Mrs. Vu announced before dismissal.
Though annoyed, they all took the pictures and went on with the rest of their school day.
