Chapter 6 : The Lost Life And The Lost Life

The next day after her exam she slept as if nothing in this world could separate her from the sleep , and they both ( sleep and herself ) have been best friends from many years.

Karthik who was sitting on the couch with his face shining even more brightly under the sunlight was watching her sleep like that.

He longed to kiss her on her forehead.

How cute she is!! he thought.

Her so very perfect curves at her waist which were more profoundly shown by the dress she worn that night made his eyes stick to hers. He wanted to watch her sleep like that forever.

That forever was broken by her mother's screaming at her. Then she all of a sudden woke up. It felt like those few minutes of magic which karthik felt for her all of a sudden broke. He got his senses back by her getting up.

" Good morning karthik.What is time now ? " she asked being very lazy to even turn back and look at the wall clock.

" It is 10'o clock in the morning. Thank god ! you got up atleast now. Now i got someone to tease."

He could have told her that he got bored without her rather than saying that,

he preferred saying that he wanted to tease her.

That is not so strange actually it was his way of expressing his feelings for her.But a very cute way.

" Let's see then who's got whom to tease ," she said .

Meanwhile , her sister , rithu smashed the door open and with an excitement in her tone she said ," It is time sis. Today there is a match .Don't you forget " she warned.

" Oh! not today ," with a disappointment in her tone kruthi said.

" Oh , yes today. Be there real quick," her sister cheered in excitement and left.

Karthik looked at her with a question on his face .

" Okay ,karthik. You need not make faces. It is just a chess game. You know my sister, she is very fond of eating choclates. I mean she is not just fond she is obssessed with choclates , so " she was interrupted by karthik.

" Now , i understand to make her stop eating choclates you have fixed a day on which you both have to play chess in which your sister is very perfect at and god !! you?!! are not even a match to her "

" That' s the plan . I will lose the game and she would eat as many as she like. Just incase if i win the game she would be eating only if i permit her to eat and the rest of the days only a choclate a day. Atleast i got her to agree to this......so don't you think i am clever " she asked with a pride in her eyes.

" Idiot you are. Couldn't you come out with any other plan ? You always take the tough path. But this time i will make it easy for you," he said.

She looked at him almost crying.

" okay ! okay ! you are clever. I do agree ," he said.

She smiled then.

The game started at 11'o clock. In the start her sister seemed to be winning but in the end kruthi won. All she did was just to follow karthik's instructions.

Kruthi couldn't see her sister disappointed so she granted her sister to eat choclates thay day but a limited amount.

Kruthi then told karthik " You know i would have won this game without you but you made it a little easy " instead of thanking him.

" Oh , yeah. I know kruthi you are just awesome and you wouldn't be needing any one's help ," he said in a mocking way.

They had a quarrel about this winning thingy for an hour and they both kept quiet after kruthi got a message from her school friend.
