Chapter 38: The Lost Life And The Last Life

She came out of the palace.There she could see the soldiers moving women and children.

Then a bracelet with a flower made of fire formed on her hand which looked beautiful.

She could hear words from the bracelet.

' I knew you won't stick to grace and dev.Any help just call me with the help of bracelet.' the voice said.

' Karthik' she thought and smiled wearily.

After the women and children were moved into the grounds of the palace, she created a shield of water around them so that no one will be able to see them and attack them.

She created a bell made of water and told them " Any help just ring this.This shield will anyhow protect you."

She said looking at the soldiers,

"I know that i don't have the authority to command you but the soldiers at northern and southern gates need your help.The decision rests with you." said kruthi.

Then the commander in cheif said

" Soldiers divide into two.I need one at the northern gate and the other at the southern gate."

The soldiers left the palce and then kruthi said adressing women and children,

" Be safe.Any help call me."

Then she left the place.

Dev kept informing karthik about the wherabouts of the army of Saras.

The army had finally reached the kingdom.There were thousands of soldiers on saras' side.

Karthik then told the soldiers

" We are going to fight them come what may."

" Archers keep your archers at ready.Wait for my command." said karthik.

Saras on the other side shouted

" Attack!!"

Then the gaints satrted to take away karthik's army.Soldiers couldn't withstand the gaints.

Some of them on other hand were fighting the ruthless killers of the mountains.

Mermaids were showering the soldiers with arrows made of fire.

Karthik was commanding the archers

" Aim the mermaids"

But the arrows made no effect on mermaids.The arrows were turned into ash even before they could touch the mermaids.

The soldiers on the northern and southern gates were also not able to withstand the army.

They were loosing.

' Think karthik think!!! There must be a way to get those mermaids down' karthik murmered.

Then karthik suddenly noticed that each mermaid had a pouch tied to the waist.

' That's it' Karthik thought.

" Archers aim your arrows at the pouches tied to their waists." said karthik.

The plan worked out.The mermaids fell down dying.

' The sodiers on the other gates needed to be informed.' thought karthik.

Karthik created balls of fire with his voice filled in those.He directed those balls towards the gates.

At the northern and the southern gates fifth battle troop has joined but the mermaids formed a protective layer for the army.Those mermaids were not allowing the fire arrows to hit the army.

Then those balls of fire reached those gates.The voice from the balls said,

" Archers aim your arrows at the pouches tied to the mermaids.The crystals in those pouches are letting the mermaids live even outside the water.Kill them all."

Then the soldiers started aiming at the mermaids.The mermaids were being taken down.

Kruthi on the other hand sent threads of water to every nook of the kingdom with her eyes turned blue and started to speak

" Dear trees, our people need you in the war.They are dying.If we let saras win the war then chaos will spread in Sarga.People of sarga are in need of you.I do believe that you will let your help"

She could hear whispers from the trees.Then all of them answered,

" We are going to the war."

The soldiers were happy to see the trees taking away gaints.

( It seems to be they are winning.But i dont think saras would let them take over the war so easily......let's see what happens.........)
