I walk down the school hall at lunch and sit against a blue locker. I don't know anybody at this school since I just moved here, so I have no friends. It's really tough for me because not only do I have no friends, I have bullies. Oh look, here's one right now.

"Hey emo freak. How's lunch?"

"Uhh fine... I guess."

"Hmm. You don't have food? Maybe you're a freak AND you're poor! Ha!"

Whatever. I usually don't care about Agnes because she is the least threatening bully of the three. But, if she just passed, that means that Annabelle and Violet are following...

"Hey freak scum. Give me your money."

I look up to see Annabelle, the worst of the three, and Violet, her ally. Great.

Violet: No Anna, she has no lunch. SHE'S POOR! HAHAHAHA!

Me: Please stop...

Annabelle: What's the matter? Are you going to cry again? Go ahead, you're worthless anyways.

Violet: Yeah! No wonder you didn't get asked to the dance tonight!

Annabelle: Let's kill her!

And so Violet's fist was an inch away from my face when I woke up. It was three in the morning, but I got out of bed. I put on my Vans and headed out the door. All I need is a nice walk, my therapist told me the other day. I secretly hated her, but I will do anything to escape my own mind. As I was walking down my street in San Fransisco, I spotted the coffee shop a block away from here. "Great. I'll walk there and pick up a hot chocolate." I thought to myself. I felt my heartbeat slowing down a little. I was finally calming down. After all, it was just a nightmare and I am safe now.
