The night went on and the Jacks and Sammy won song of the summer for Like That. Mentally reminded myself to listen to it later. It was a good night but I was getting hungry. We were supposed to go to an after party but I wasn't really feeling it tonight.
"What? You have to go, you need to celebrate your win!" Nicole spoke as we walked down the sidewalk.
"I don't know I'm tired." I responded.
"Party while you can, do you think Amy will let you party when your on tour?" She spoke again.
"Why are you always right?" I groaned and lightly pushed her playfully.

We arrived at the party, it was suppose to be a private party but I'm not surprised that the paparazzi found out about it. We tried to dodge them as best we could but that didn't stop them from pushing us to try to get their photos.
"Can you guys give us some space?" Jack G shouted over their insane about of questions.
We went in and the music was pretty loud.
"Want a drink?" Jack G asked closely to my ear.
"Coke sounds good thanks." With that he left and I realized I was hungry and tired. I should be enjoying this but all I wanted to do was get some chicken nuggets and go to sleep. My phone started to ring, it was a number I didn't recognize. I ran to the bathroom and clicked the green answer button.
"Hello, this is Karen at Los Angeles Emergency Hospital is this Leena Rexha?" The voice spoke hurried and I became nervous.
"Yes, this is her is something wrong?" I started pacing the surprisingly empty bathroom.
"Your mother is Katherine Rexha correct?"
"Yes, is everything alright?" I was freaking out now.
"She has been in an accident, we have evidence to believe she was hit by a drunk driver. We are trying to contact anyone in her cell phone and your one of the few that has answered."
"I'm on my way now. I'll contact my family."
"Good, see you soon."
I hung up and looked in the mirror. I was a mess I wanted nothing more than to wash my face but that would mess up my makeup. I walked out and searched for Nicole. I was met with a gilinsky instead.
"What happened? Are you okay?" He seemed worried.
"I h-have to go to the h-hospital, my mom was in an a-accident." I stuttered looking around for an exit.
"I should come with you and we'll text the others yeah?" He spoke trying to get my attention. I just nodded quickly and he grabbed my hand as we walked out. He found an uber and we left.
Is she okay? Will she survive? Questions filled my mind as I watched Jack's thumbs slide across his phone.

"Leena Rexha, we spoke on the phone?"
"Ah yes, right this way." She spoke as she lead me through the emergency hospital to a room. She knocked on the door and opened it. There stood my younger sister, Marie, next to my mother as she laid on the bed. My mother had a couple bandages and her left arm was in a sling.
"Marie," I said breathlessly and gave her a hug. Jack stayed close behind.
"Is she okay? What happened?"
"She was hit from the left side by a drunk driver, who did not make it due to the amount of alcohol he consumed, her left arm is broken and a two of her left ribs along with that. She had asked for pain medication, which I believe made her go to sleep. She must've been exhausted. She's lucky she survived with minor injuries." The nurse spoke.
"Thank you."
"My name is Megan and I'll be her nurse tonight so feel free to hit the red button if you need anything. We were going to admit her to an upstairs took but since she's asleep we wouldn't want to wake her. Now because this the emergency, only one of you can stay the night with her and visiting hours are over at eleven." She gave a faint smile.
"Thank you." I said again and looked over at the clock, ten:thirty-four, it read. The nurse had left and I felt Jack hugged me from behind.
"Marie, this is Jack, and Jack this is my little sister, Marie." I introduced as they shook hands.
"Sorry we had to meet like this." Jack spoke sincerely.
"Yeah, at least she'll be okay." Marie stated; she's always so positive. An awkward silence erupted and all that was heard was the heart beating monitor.
"How are things back home?" I asked trying to break the awkwardness.
"Pretty good. Pretty much the same. We were actually coming to visit you. Kind of unplanned but surprise?" She became out of words.
"Oh." I said.
"Are you going to stay with her? You're welcome to stay at my place." I offered.
"Thanks, but I'm going to stay with her. She'll need a friendly face she can recognize tomorrow, but if you don't mind, could we stay with you for a while? I don't want to drive home after what happened tonight." She looked at the floor as she asked.
"Of course. You guys are always welcome and when you're ready I'll have someone drive you guys home, no problem." I sent her a sincere smile.
"Thanks." She smiled.

"You okay?" Jack finally broke the silence.
"Yeah, I'm fine I guess, just worried." I assured him. He grabbed my hand. I sighed a bit.
"Don't worry, she'll be fine. Besides your tour is coming up and it's gonna be hype." He smiled. I sent him a small smile and looked out the window.
