Stacy's POV

"Can I come with you mommy?"

Must be crazy. Let me hurry up and blame her dad before she goes to ask him because I am not taking any of them with me. I needed this break.

"No Queen, you have piano lessons. Remember you have a performance this summer?"

"But I want to see Grandma," she whined but mainly because she was refusing to get ready also.

Jesus I was already dealing with the grumpiest Walker of them all, no way I was going to take on the third grumpiest today.

"I know but daddy said you guys have to stay home. Look we won't be away for so long and you have to listen to what daddy says, you don't want him to be mad at you. ok?"

He didn't but he had to get the heat for this one.

"He is so mean."

"He is but you love him right?"

"I do."

"Me too. Come put your shoes on Grandma Joan waiting for you."

"Ok mommy."

She gave me a kiss on my cheek. Queen was more loveable than Paris. Paris was her Garrick in every way. I was afraid of my own child.

"Stacy!"

I heard Garrick shout like he was in danger. I told Queen to stay inside the room until Joan came for her.

When I reached where he was, at the front of the house looking out at something.

"A wah Garrick?"

He pointed. "Weh dem a guh?"

I went to look at what he was pointing at and saw a bunch of cars pulling into Walker's Mansion. Here I was saying silent prayer in hopes that he wouldn't blow a fuse or burst a blood vessel.

"I have no clue."

He moved towards the steps and I moved with, rubbing his back to keep him calm.

"A wah gwan?" he asked Mystro.

"We are coming with you," Mystro said as he made his way towards. Garrick looked at me and I shrugged.

"Suh unuh nuh hear me seh me nuh want unuh behind me?"

"Yeah you did but I think it's best for us to go with you. What time are we leaving?"

This Mystro I was definately loving.

"The man said he didn't want unuh follow him and all a unuh showed up here. Why unuh love problem suh?" I asked.

"Yuh see wah me seh Stacy?"

"Yeah babe, they don't listen. Unuh nuh bother come stress out me husband enuh. Try gwan a unuh yard."

He turned to look at me.

"Me nah do this with unuh, I said I don't need any company but my wife and I meant it," He said.

"Yes, nobody but me. Unuh too little and nuff sometimes."

He turned fully to look at me and fold his arms across his chest.

"What? Dem nuh don't it babe?"

"Yuh see you Stacy?" he said.

"Wah me do?"

He kissed his teeth and walked into the house leaving us outside.

"Stacy, the man knows yuh," Cross said and everyone started laughing.
