I was standing at the edge of the terrace, contemplating jumping at any moment to end this painful life, when I heard the bell of the church, then baby Joseph cried loudly, his cries echoing even in the palace. I was abruptly awakened, returning to consciousness after being lost in my own created world.

For the past years, I have lived a life shaped by the people around me. But for the past three months, I have been living a superficial existence, simply indulging in the world I have created for myself.

Now, I have a reason to live. I should have jumped, but the cry of the baby saved me. It was the church, or perhaps God, that brought me back to my senses.

I threw away all the paraphernalia and the remaining drugs. I cursed the illegal substances.

I embraced the baby, while the nanny prepared his milk. Baby Joseph's temperature was abnormal. He was sick.

We took him to the doctor, and it was determined that he has tuberculosis, just like his nanny.

Once again, I blame myself for the baby's poor health. If only I had focused more on him, he would be healthy now. I feel guilty for being an irresponsible father.

I realize that I need to change my perspective. For the past few months, all I could see in him were reminders of my own suffering on the island. Additionally, I was preoccupied with finishing my novel and didn't spend enough time with him.

From now on, I will be a true father to him, and he will be my son. I have made a promise to myself.

I went to the church near the hospital and prayed fervently to God, begging for the baby's life.

After a month, baby Joseph recovered. He is now safe and healthy. His nanny also regained her health.

"My apologies, Sir William, for the outcome of my work. The baby got sick because of me."

"It's alright, Ms. Carla. I appreciate your help and care for my baby."

"Would it be possible for me to bring my family to the castle, Mr. William? I want to be with them while I take care of your son. Don't worry, I only have one son who is currently in Grade 3. My husband can assist with cleaning and maintaining the castle."

"Yes, send them here. This castle is too big for just eight people. We have available rooms."

"Thank you so much for your kindness and support."

Joseph has grown strong, and now he is eight years old. I have successfully balanced my time between writing novels, reading, managing my business, and spending time with him.

I have taught him how to hunt, and I'm proud that at his young age, he can already catch a rabbit.

Joseph loves hearing the story about the island where I encountered the phoenix. He expresses his desire to see one, but I am still considering whether or not to allow him.

He also has a passion for reading books. During Enzo's free time, they visit the mall and enjoy the playground together.

Enzo has successfully completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is now the Vice President of the company.

He continues to visit his father in jail. Mr. Eric will be released a year earlier than his initial sentence next year.

After eight years of silence, I was shocked to discover a trending video online featuring my conversation with Uncle Larry, Mr. Eric, Mr. Menard, and Jane. Someone uploaded it without my consent.

My attorney is handling the situation, and the police are trying to trace the culprit.

This situation has caught the attention of the public. There is a Facebook account with 16 million followers urging me to run for a public position, specifically for the presidency of the country.
