"Thanks for picking me up" Jisung whispered holding the cup of coffee in his hands. He loved this place because despite the fact this was his hyung's house, it smelt just like the café.
The blonde smiled at him. "No problem Sung, although I think you should just get home soon. Your parents may get mad"
"Ah, yes. Cha- I mean my parents will be mad" he shuddered, sipping more of the drink in his hands.
There was a comfortable silence between the two of them, the sky was still dark, Jisung looked at his phone. "2:42"
"Are you in a hurry?" Felix asked standing up. Jisung shook his head "no". He knew Felix could read him like a book but he was willing to try lying to his best friend.
"Jisung?"
The older hesitantly locked eyes with Felix, the tension in the atmosphere getting so thick you could cut it with a plastic ruler.
"You're lying... Aren't you?"
Jisung looked away. "I'm not in a rush, really" he said, shifting uncomfortably in his seat. All Felix had to do was stare him down to make him fold. And fold he did.
"Remember the first month after we graduated?" Jisung asked knowing he probably regret this confession later. Felix bidded, inching closer to his best friend, his interest peaked.
"I met a guy..."
Seven months ago...
Jisung stood behind the counter, cleaning the decorative cups that would accompany him to stare down the customers as the day dragged on.
That particular work day was a drag for him. Felix decided to cash in on his holiday so he had the week off, leaving Jisung lonely as ever.
The bell on the door chimed, indicating a customer. He mentally prepared himself before letting his small lips stretch into a charming smile— one he offered each customer.
He locked eyes with a male who was evidently taller than Jisung. He had his brown hair over his forehead, making him look younger than he was.
His eyes scanned the menu hanging just above Jisung's head. (mind you... this was before they started handing out the menus to customers) Once he found what he liked, he smiled showing off his bunny teeth.
"One ice americano, one frappuccino and two slices of toast, please"
Jisung nodded taking notes, before showing the male to a table to wait. Jisung scurried back to his position before beginning to prepare his order.
He could feel the male stare him down even with his back turned towards him.
Once he was done, he wiped his hands on a napkin before carefully making his way over to the male. He handed it over to him. He was stopped by the male on his way back.
"You're really pretty" he said
Jisung smiled, thanking him before returning to his work station.
A few minutes later, another male walked in joining the other male. They engaged in a friendly banter while they ate.
Jisung couldn't help but marvel at the first male that came into the café. He found they way he put the straw at the side of his mouth to drink his coffee so adorable.
Once they were done, the second male walked over to Jisung, handing him a piece of paper which he opened, a durex packet fell out of it. He read the paper "Who cares if you're straight? 01-233-683-8272"
He smiled at him, picking up the durex packet, his cheeks tinted red once he realised what it was. Wow. His friend smiled awkwardly at Jisung before tipping him and pushed his "flirty" friend out.

"Somehow we hit things off and here we are!" he said feigning enthusiasm"
Felix sighed. He could tell his friend had put up with a lot and there was no need to let him suffer any longer.
"I have a plan..."

So.... How are we liking the update?
I really tried to be vague with Felix at the beginning of the chapter. Was it obvious?
Btw, I hope you're enjoying the book <3
