February 1980
"Regulus don't be stupid!" Walburga Black was saying to her son, "she's had our heiress, and she is merely a half blood. Marrying her would but as at great risk!"
"I love her, mum, you can't!" He shook his head, his families wicked plans had him begging for change, praying to anybody that would listen, he was in desperation, "is this because she's Sirius' best friend? You're getting back at him, aren't you!"
"Don't you dare say that name in this house! Walburga screeched, "the girl must go! What I decide goes! I don't trust you enough to break up with her. She must be permanently removed!"
"Mother!" He shouted, yet she had already left the room, most likely on a hunt to find someone to dispose of Arabella, the mother of his child. "I'll...I'll tell the ministry!"
He followed her into the kitchen, and she laughed, a cackle that made his skin prickle and his face twitch, "please, please mother! Banish me from the family! Burn me off the tree! Do anything but please! You can't have her killed!"
"Regulus, stop acting like a child. You are my only heir, I will not disown you. You are lucky that I am excusing your pathetic actions and allowing you to even keep this baby! Now leave, go to your room and be quiet!"
Regulus glanced towards his daughter who was asleep in her crib, she looked so peaceful, beautiful Roxana. He couldn't allow her to grow up without her mother, he wanted at least one member of this pathetic family to grow up with two loving parents. He wanted his baby girl to have a real childhood, something she'd look back on and smile.
"Then I'll leave! I'll run away and I'll take both of my girls with me! You will not get your own way with this one, mother. I let everything slip by me, especially now that father has died! You simply can not! You will not!"
She laughed again, and with a flick of her wand, the man was frozen to the spot, and he'd stay that way until it was too late.
Walburga sent her men to do their job; following Arabella through the busy streets of London and destroying her with the killing curse the second she turned down the wrong road. It was as easy as that. Just one simple spell. That's all it took to destroy Roxana's mother.
Regulus and his daughter stood on the doorstep of Sirius Black and Remus Lupins house. His eyes were filled with tears, and when Sirius answered the door, he was taken aback.
"Reg? What's wrong?"
"Sirius, it's Ara," the man sobbed, and Sirius' eyes widened. "Mother...she..."
"What?" Sirius gasped, a hand clasping his mouth, "Regulus? What have you allowed her to do?"
"Sirius I didn't! She hexed me! I swear I didn't-"
"Is she dead?" He asked quietly, his face emotionless.
Regulus didn't reply, instead, tears streamed down his face and he held his daughter close to his chest. He needed his brother right now; he needed a sign that he and his daughter weren't alone.
"You could've stopped her, Regulus! There's always another way, something you can do! Don't ever come here again!" Sirius slammed the door in his brothers face, and Regulus felt like crumbling.
He didn't though, he knew he couldn't, "come on baby Roxy," he whispered, "let's go and see Andy."
Andromeda Tonks took the completely different approach to her cousin; she welcomed Regulus with warm hugs and hot chocolate. She held Regulus as he sobbed and gave him the spare room in her house until he was back on his feet, she held him raise his daughter, and supported him through everything.

This is so so short but it's important for the plot. This is the cause of Roxy's hatred for Sirius/marauders/their children !!
More chaps coming soon xoxo
