Buck's point of view
Three days later I am released from the hospital and given some depression meds which not going to lie have already helped. "Brady?" I ask when I see the cop from a few days ago in the waiting room. "Told you I would pick you up, looks like your already feeling even a bit better?" He asks me I let out a smile and nod. "Yeah the meds feel like their working, I just want to thank you for stopping I probably wouldn't be alive right now if you hadn't see me." I say looking at him as I am very grateful about that. "Don't thank me I was doing my job, not going to lie I was so relived when you climbed back over that fence. I was serious if you bring your papers showing your stable and it was a one time thing you could join the Lapd they wouldn't make you do academy just the paper test." (AN I know that not true just to lazy to write him going through that.)
"R-Really?" I ask confused but happy. "Yeah I promised you I would get you that job I wouldn't promise something like that to just to not do it." He says as I smile widely and nod my head. "Plus you are cute." He adds making me blush and I stupidly respond. "You are as well, I mean I uh sorry." He blushes and laughs shakes his head. "Nah it fine I mean it after we get you in the force let me take you to dinner." I blush knowing that I shouldn't go on dates but I nod my head yes. "Deal." I say with a huge smile.

He takes me to the academy to do the test I am shocked at how fast he works. "Here pass this test and I can start training you next week." I am thankful but shocked at how fast that was done.
"Hello you must be Evan Buckley ex firefighter?" I nod my head yes and put my head down. "Ok cool than that's why you will just be taught hands on by Brady he works with people who learn while doing the job instead of the academy he's our best TO in the Lapd." I smile and now realized that's how he got it so fast. "Uh ok yeah lets do this then." I say and after 6 hours I finally do all the things needed, gun certification, and the small things. "Ok hand this in to Sargent Grant so she can add you to the roster and here is your uniform belt and gun and gun safe badge and just everything you will need." I smile I am shocked it that easy for this. "I passed and wait Sargent Grant as Athena?" I asked not realizing Athena deals with that type of stuff.
"Oh with flying colors, and you know her?" I nod my head yes. "I know her very well, she uh my ex boss Robert Nash wife." I say rubbing the back of my neck and sighing. "Ah well hope your excited to join the pd.
I walk out with a smile on my face and Brady leaning on his car. "Did ya pass?" He asks me and I show him the paper his eyes wide open. "Holy fuck." I look at him confused at why he would say that is that a good thing or bad thing when he walks into the building. "Hold up stay there I will be right back." I listen to him confused on what the hell is going on.
"Sorry I had to make sure these were right, you got the same exact score I got after being in the academy and I broke records in the academy you are going to make a hell of a hands on learning rookie." He says handing me the paper back and laughing shaking his head.
"C-Can you by chance take me one place so I can take this to Athena?" He smirks and tells me to get into the car. "Thanks." I say.

I walk up to the door and take a deep breath and knock praying Bobby doesn't open, it is weirdly raining. "Hey uh Buck are you ok?" Bobby asks me as I roll my eyes at him and take another big deep breath. "Is Athena here Bobby I have something to give her." I say trying to keep it civil with him for my mental health sake.
"Uh yeah you want to come in for a bit?" I shake my head no at him. "No thanks I rather not, plus my date is waiting for me."
"Hey Buckaroo what's up." I smile and hug Athena tightly in my arms. "Before you ask I am doing better I was put on a 72 hour hold and given some meds...I am joining the Lapd I had to hand you this and your place was on the way." I say handing her the paper with a huge smile and she looks at it her face drops. "Brady you are going through Brady the crack head with these numbers your going to do amazing in the force." She says smacking Bobby in the back of the head.
