Hanging off the ledge of a univers was surprisingly nice, thought Herman. They could see the other universes shining brightly in a chaotic matter which pleased them. They took the moment in. Then they looked back at the reality of the situation: being forced out of this universe by the other gods due to "Ill intend towards the world" and "a shitty attitude". Those both were ofcource extremely true. The mentioned "ill intends" were the multiple times Herman tried to destroy the universe through various means, and the shitty attitude just had always sort of been there. Nobody really knows why, not even Herman (why the shitty attitude, the world ending was quite clear to everyone (they were destined to do so)).
'is it over then? Quite an anticlimactic ending ain't it?' Herman sighs while grasping on the very material their universe was made out of.
'yes, sad is it? Well good luck swimming through the in-between and trying to find somewhere they'll let you in, before dissipeting' Marcin -a higher level god- coffed.
'oh i didn't mean my end! I'll be fine thank you, but you and your universe...' Herman smiled with delight.
'i don't believe you' Marcin said with a deep menacing voice, that did not menace Herman what so ever. 'why are you still so addament about destroying it all anyway'
'cause it was meant to be destroyed, you know that'
'i know what you mean, but i do not agree.'
'you really should'
Herman was right ofcource. This universe was meant to be destroyed by them, it was always written that way. The problem was, they were the only one who knew that to be true. All the other gods thought they were just crazy and evil for that, that they only wished destruction and pain. But infact Herman was just trying to follow The Writers text. Why The Writer wrote the world this way Herman did not know (it was because The Writer was bored and distructive).
Herman visible grasped tighter on the univers.'you don't know how the world works' Herman teased.
'neither do you' Marcin growled.
'not wrong' Herman said with a bright smile and let go of the universe.
Marcin's eyes opened wide with surprise, and then horror as they realized what had happened.

Universes need gods. Otherwise there is no power to run them. If a god dies or otherwise leaves the universe it becomes unbalanced (both the god and the universe).

Now that Herman was no longer in the universe there was no force trying to destroy it, only a force trying to keep it alive, that being Marcin. But what happens when you only try to grow and grow with nothin holding you back? The borders are unsupported, and nothing is pushing back from the other direction. It all explodes. And Herman had the glorious view of an exploding universe, and the baffled angry face of Marcin. That was the best day of their life, and ultimately the last.
