𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐈 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃
𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐈 sat down on the chair in their bedroom as amaya tried on different clothes for a special occasion he had planned
sarai sucked his teeth looking at the time knowing it was getting late and amaya was just taking her sweet time at picking an outfit
"baby hurry up" he said as she stood in front of the mirror
she ignored him turning around showing him this black dress that hugged her curves perfectly with a long slit on the side
"You look beautiful" he said falling in love with her all over again
"I know I get that a lot" she said coming over to give him a kiss and thanking him
"I'm definitely ripping this off yo body tonight" he said feeling on her curves
"He was like uhhh and I was like uhhh" she said in response to what he said with her tongue out
He chuckled
"You ready to go" He said standing up grasping her hand lightly
She nodded
He lead her out of their bedroom walking out of their house towards the car, he opened her door holding her hand as she got in he closed the door as soon she got in
He fiddled with the box in his pocket as he walked to the drivers side, he was proposing tonight and he was nervous he never expected himself to be proposing to a girl and he was grateful it was her
He held her hand as he pulled out of the driveway making his way to the location
"So where are we going" she said trying to get him to spill the beans
"Somewhere" he said glancing at her
"Be so fr" she said laughing
"Bae please tell me" she said
"Its supposed to be a surprise mama and we're almost there so you'll see" she frowned but nodded
They sat in a comfortable as they continued the way towards the place he was taking her
He glanced at her every 10 seconds nervous of what she was gonna say or do he sighed
Sarai helped her out of the car shutting the door it behind her he carefully guided her towards the spot since she had on a blind fold
"Baby im scared" she said clinging on to his body
"You trynna kill aren't you" she said still holding tightly as they walked
He laughed not saying anything
He looked beside him seeing the photographer , his family, her father, and her and his friends off to the side telling them to be quiet with a gesture
"Take it off now" he positioned himself down in front of her one knee
She slowly took of the blind fold scared with her eyes closed shut before slowing opening it looking down at him
"Whatchu doing?" she said confused and looked around seeing people she recognized and a photographer
He took the ring out of the box preparing himself to speak
"Amaya Riley Carter from the day I met you at that party I knew I was drawn to you in someway and you giving me a son was the icing on the cake, I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you after seeing you in that delivery room delivering Micah I knew I couldn't let you slip from my hands. Will you MARRY ME Amaya?"
"How could I say no to you baby" she said crying nodding her head repeatedly yes his family and her's cheered happily for the couple
He slid the ring on her ring finger standing up and kissing her lips passionately
"Alright stop with all that shit" Elijah her father said jokingly
Sarai and Amaya laughed walking over to the family
"My bestieee is engaged y'all" Justine said hugging her tightly
"I know right" she said showing off the rock on her finger cheesing
"My girl don't know how to act I know that's right" Blair said so happy for her friend
"Now you treat her right na" Justine said to Sarai who rolled her eyes
"I always treat my baby right" he said kissing her cheek making her blush
"Baby you look so beautiful" Sarai's mom said walking up to them in tears
"Thank you Ms. Raya" she said hugging her tightly
"Any you I'm so proud of how far you've come" she said to her son remembering the day she told him to talk to Amaya after the news
"Thank you ma" he said smiling showing all of his teeth
Love was in the air for the two caught up in the bliss that engulfed them they were finally one together
