Sunday, March 24.

Dear Ms Sasaki.

Congratulations on your graduation. It seems that I won't be able to attend the ceremony due to several things. LUX Group needed my attendance because of what happened on the Christmas Eve Gala. It appears that there's a notable disturbance within the group, creating ripples that demand my immediate attention.

Despite my absence, I hope the graduation ceremony was a moment filled with pride and accomplishment for you. Your dedication and perseverance have undoubtedly led to this well-deserved achievement. I regret not being there in person to witness this momentous occasion.

Regarding the Gala, I'm pleased to inform you that the media has been kept at bay, and your credentials remain secure. It's reassuring to know that your identity hasn't been compromised. However, we must remain vigilant and take precautionary measures to ensure your continued safety. I urge you not to adopt similar makeup or hairstyles that might draw unnecessary attention. It's a small sacrifice for the sake of your security.

In connection with our appearance at the Gala, the significant scale of the event has momentarily diverted the attention of those who were pressuring me to consider marriage. The temporary reprieve doesn't necessarily translate to a long-term relief, given their notable past actions. It's a delicate situation that requires careful navigation.

As you may have heard the murmurs, the older sibling of one who spread bad words about you, was the one who was offered to be my wife candidate. I've met her in the past and she's a nightmare. Her whims and temper don't fit in the ecosystem of LUX Group, similar to that of your bully as you might have known.

My father, however, took a liking to her. Saying things like she's a fresh air and a good match for me. That's why I was left with no other choice other than to use you. It was not an easy decision, and for that, it felt like I owed you an explanation.

I want to express my sincere gratitude for your cooperation. Your commitment to this intricate charade did not go unnoticed. Your poise and resilience, especially during unexpected encounters, were admirable. I apologize for the unexpected turns and the shadows of deception that have touched your life.

As we move forward, I want to assure you that your safety remains a top priority. The information you provided about the unexpected encounter at the gala has been invaluable in assessing potential threats. Rest assured, steps are being taken to identify and address any looming dangers.

On a more personal note, I must express my admiration for the way you've handled yourself in the midst of uncertainty. Your ability to adapt and respond with grace speaks volumes about the person you are. It's a quality that goes beyond the realms of our charade and delves into the core of your character.

Oh, I want this letter to serve as more than just an explanation. I want it to be a testament to the genuine appreciation I hold for the role you played. Your presence has become a variable of significance in the equation of my life, that finds its way through the imaginary area of our connection.

This is rather an unfamiliar sentiment for me, yet I find myself feeling a sense of protectiveness towards you. It's a strange dynamic, and I acknowledge the complexity of our situation, but I hope you don't feel weighted or uncomfortable. The fabricated nature of our connection doesn't diminish the impact you've had on me.

I understand the complexities and challenges this has brought into your life, and I want to express my gratitude for your resilience and commitment. But if you're willing to go on another adventure (aka helping me), as before, the expenses are on me. And by adventure, I mean meeting my parents so they won't get suspicious of me hiring someone to play the part.

If there's anything you need, be it financial support for your studies or a listening ear, do not hesitate to reach out.

Sincerely yours,

L.
